Vincent Abenojar De Jesus is a Filipino composer, librettist, musical scorer, and musical director for theater, television, and film. He is also a writer, lyricist, actor, singer, and educator. Luciano "Lou" Mariñas Veloso is a Filipino actor, comedian, director and politician. He is known for his supporting roles in over 30 comedy films, which include Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang (1985), Pulis Patola (1993), Ang Cute ng Ina Mo (2007), and Desperadas 2 (2008). As an actor, Veloso has also performed in films such as Kabayo Kids, released in 1990, in which he portrayed Loreiga, Buddy en Sol (1992), and M & M: The Incredible Twins (1989).

Romeo "John" Gonzales Arcilla is a Filipino actor. Arcilla won Best Actor awards at the 78th Venice International Film Festival and the Gawad Urian Awards for his performance in On the Job: The Missing 8. He is the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to win the Volpi Cup for Best Actor. He played the role of Antonio Luna in the historical drama film Heneral Luna, Hagorn in the fantasy drama television series Encantadia, and Renato Hipolito in the action drama television series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.

Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, abbreviated as PPP, is a film festival held in the Philippines in celebration of the Buwan ng Wika. It is organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines. Similar to the Metro Manila Film Festival, only shortlisted films will be shown in cinemas except in select 3D cinemas, VIP cinemas and IMAX theaters.

Elijah Luiz Madiclum Canlas is a Filipino actor and commercial model. He began his professional acting career in the 2014 independent film Sundalong Kanin, an official entry to Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival. He then rose to prominence for his award-winning performance in Kalel, 15 where he received Best Actor awards at 43rd Gawad Urian Awards, 68th FAMAS Awards, 17th Asian Film Festival in Rome, Italy, and 16th Harlem International Film Festival in Harlem, New York.

Maxine Eve Pimentel Eigenmann, also known as Max Eigenmann, is a Filipino actress and singer.

<i>Ari: My Life with a King</i> 2015 Filipino film

Ari: My Life with a King is a 2015 Philippine independent film by Carlo Encisco Catu about a Kapampangan high school student learning about his native language from a Kapampangan-language poet.

The 2020 Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino is the 4th edition of the annual Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines.
