<i>Philippine Idol</i> 2006 Filipino reality television series

Philippine Idol is the first version of the Idol series in the Philippines, the 35th country in the world to air a local Idol adaptation and the sixth in Asia broadcast by ABC 5. Similar to the premise of original show Pop Idol, Philippine Idol aims to find the best singer in the country who can be defined as the "national" singer. Local television personality Ryan Agoncillo hosted the program. Ryan Cayabyab, Pilita Corrales and Francis Magalona were also judges of the show. Agoncillo, Corrales and Magalona auditioned to be part of the program, while Cayabyab was chosen by the program's producers. Meanwhile, actress Heart Evangelista hosted the daily updates program I ♥ Philippine Idol: Exclusive. Composer Mel Villena was the show's musical director.

That's Entertainment is a Philippine television variety show broadcast by GMA Network. Originally hosted by German Moreno and Ike Lozada, it premiered on January 6, 1986. The show concluded on May 3, 1996 with a total of 3,200 episodes.

Jose Yumang Sonza, more commonly known as Jay Sonza, is a Filipino blogger and a former newscaster and talk show host. He was the former station manager of the terrestrial television station UNTV from 2005 to 2009.

The 2017 PSA Annual Awards was an awarding ceremony, recognizing the sports athletes, personalities, organizations and NSAs for the year 2016. It is organized by the Philippine Sportswriters Association, the Philippines' oldest media organization founded in 1949, with members composed by sports section editors, sportswriters and sports columnists from major national broadsheets, tabloids and online sports news portals. PSA is currently headed by Riera Mallari, sports editor of the Manila Standard.

Aliw Channel 23 is a Philippine television network owned and operated by Aliw Broadcasting Corporation, a subsidiary of the ALC Group of Companies. The network is carried on UHF Channel 23 on digital terrestrial TV in Metro Manila. The station's broadcast facilities and studios are located at the 5th and 20th Floors, Citystate Centre, 709 Shaw Boulevard, Brgy. Oranbo, Pasig, and its transmitter is located in Nuestra Señora dela Paz Subd., Sumulong Highway, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Antipolo.

<i>Penduko</i> 2023 Philippine superhero film

Penduko is a 2023 Philippine superhero film written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana. Based on the Liwayway character Pedro Penduko, it is intended to serve as a reboot of the character's various film and television adaptations. The film will star Matteo Guidicelli as the titular character along with Kylie Verzosa. Produced by Sari Sari Network, the film is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2023 as an entry to the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
