Vacaville is a city located in Solano County, California, within the North Bay subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area. Sitting about 35 miles (56 km) from Sacramento and 55 miles (89 km) from San Francisco, it is on the edge of the Sacramento Valley in Northern California. The city was founded in 1851 and is named after Juan Manuel Vaca.

The school is divided into five academies housed at two separate campuses, each of which has its own academy leaders and administrative team. The athletic teams are known as the Reynoldsburg Raiders, and the school colors are purple and gold. Reynoldsburg High School was established in 1870. Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy (WHILA), formerly Walnut Hill Elementary School, is a public K-8 school in Dallas, Texas, and a part of the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). The school's previous campus was located near Walnut Hill Lane. The school has been in operation since 1912, though the building used until 2019 was constructed in 1946. Walnut Hill serves a portion of the Preston Hollow area, including parts of the "Old Preston Hollow" estate community.

It serves most of the city of Pickerington, Ohio, as well as part of the city of Columbus, Reynoldsburg, Canal Winchester and unincorporated parts of Fairfield and Franklin Counties. In the 1980s and 90s it was the fastest growing school district in Ohio over a five-year period. It is highly rated by Niche. In 2004 the district was rated excellent by the state of Ohio. It is the taxing authority for the Pickerington Public Library as well as for the school district.
