The Chengdu Metro is the rapid transit system of Chengdu,the capital of Sichuan,China. With the opening of Line 1 on 27 September 2010,the system consists of 13 subway lines and 1 light rail line. It has subsequently undergone rapid expansion. Since the opening of Lines 6,8,9,and 17 on 18 December 2020,the Chengdu Metro is the 4th longest metro system in the world.

Line 11 is a northwest–southeast line of the Shanghai Metro network. Since October 2013,Line 11 serves Kunshan city,making it is the second intercity metro in China after the Guangfo Metro and the first that crosses a provincial boundary. With a single-line mileage of 82.386 kilometres (51.192 mi),it is the second-longest single-line subway line in China,after Line 6 in Chongqing,which is 85.6 km (53.2 mi) long. The line is colored brown on system maps.
Line 7 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in Beijing. It runs parallel and to the south of Line 1 and Batong line,from the Beijing West railway station in Fengtai District to Universal Resort in Tongzhou District. Like Line 6,Line 7 provides additional relief to the overcapacity Line 1 adding another east–west trunk line to the Beijing Subway network. The line uses 8-car Type B trains. Line 7's color is light orange.
The Fangshan Line of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in western Beijing that runs from Yancundong in Fangshan District north and east to Dongguantounan in Fengtai District. The line is 31.8 km (19.8 mi). It is mainly elevated,including 10 elevated stations and 6 underground stations. It allows residents of Beijing's western suburbs to connect to the rest of the Beijing Subway network. Fangshan line's color is orange.
The Changping Line of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in northern Beijing. It is 43.2 km (26.8 mi) in length with 20 stations. Changping line's color is pink.
Line 16 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line in Beijing. It is 48.9 km (30.4 mi) in length with 30 stations. The line is fully underground.
The Guiyang Metro is a rapid transit system in the city of Guiyang,Guizhou province,China. It is operated and branded as Guiyang Urban Rail Transit (GYURT).
Nanchang Metro,officially Nanchang Rail Transit,is a rapid transit system in Nanchang,Jiangxi,China. As of 2021,four lines are operational. The Metro opened for commercial operation in December 2015. The network is currently 128.3 km (79.7 mi) in length in December 2021 with 4 lines. A total length of 163 km (101.3 mi) of network is planned,with Line 5 which is currently under planning.

Line 11 of the Beijing Subway is a rapid transit line of the Beijing Subway. The line opened btween Jin'anqiao and Xinshougang on December 31,2021,and between Jin'anqiao and Moshikou on December 30,2023. Line 11's color is grapefruit.

Several cities in China had tram systems during the 20th century;however,by the end of the century,only Dalian and Changchun remained extant. However the 21st century has seen a resurgence in tram transport systems as China attempts to combat with urban traffic congestion and pollution.
Line 18 of the Chengdu Metro is an express rapid transit line that connects the urban area of Chengdu with Chengdu Tianfu International Airport. Line 18's color is teal. The Phase 1 &2 of Line 18 is in total 69.39 km in length. It is also the biggest PPP project in China. The section from South Railway Station to Tianfu International Airport North Station started operation on 18 December 2020.
Line 3 of the Hangzhou Metro is a metro line in Hangzhou. The line is 57.5 km long. It will run in a southwest-northeast direction between Wushanqiancun station in Yuhang District and Xingqiao station in Linping District in the east,passing through downtown Hangzhou and providing transfers with multiple other lines in the system. The line uses 6-car Type AH rolling stock,which is designed for exclusive use in Hangzhou.
Line 19 of the Hangzhou Metro is a rapid transit line in Hangzhou. The line was opened on 22 September 2022.
