The Singapore International or Singapore Satellite, Cheers Asian Satellite is an open international badminton tournament in Singapore. In the last few years, this tournament has been an International Series level. Another tournament with higher level and prize money named Singapore Open.

The tournament has been an International Series level since 1995, then in 2009–2013 categorized as International Challenge, and in 2014 back to International Series level from Badminton World Federation.

Vũ Thị Trang Vietnamese badminton player

Vũ Thị Trang is a badminton player from Vietnam. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was a bronze medallist at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.

Airi Mikkelä Finnish badminton player

Airi Mikkelä is a Finnish badminton player. She started playing badminton at 8 years old, then in 2009, she joined Finnish national badminton team. In 2010, she participated at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. In 2014, she won Iceland International tournament in women's singles event. In 2015, she became the runner-up of Mauritius and Mexico international tournament. In 2016, she won Peru International Series and became the runner-up of Iceland International tournament.

This tournament has been a BWF International Series level, and a part of Bahrain International Badminton Festival. Yeo Jia Min is a Singaporean badminton player. In 2015, she clinched two titles at the Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships in Kudus, Indonesia. She won the bronze medal at the 2017 Asian Junior Championships, and also part of the national team that won the women's team bronze at the 2015, 2017 and 2019 Southeast Asian Games. Yeo was ranked World Junior No.1 in the girls' singles event in June 2017. She competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, and at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Hendra Wijaya is a Singaporean badminton player. Wijaya and his brother, Hendri Saputra, joined the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) in 2000 and both became Singapore citizens after five years.

Fernando Kurniawan is an Indonesian male badminton player.

Kantaphon Wangcharoen is a Thai badminton player. At the young age, Wangcharoen became the runner-up in the senior tournament 2014 Singapore International in the men's singles event after losing the match because of foot injury. Wangcharoen clinched the bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in the boys' singles event, also part of the junior team that won the mixed team bronze in 2014 and 2016, and Asian mixed team bronze in 2016.

Khoo Chung Chiat is a Malaysian badminton player. He was part of the Malaysian junior team that won the bronze medal at the 2004 Asian Junior Championships in the boys' team event. In the senior event, he was the men's doubles champion at the 2007 Singapore Cheers Asian Satellite in the men's doubles event partnered with Chang Hun Pin. Teamed-up with Mohd Razif Abdul Latif, they finished as the runner-up at the 2006 Sri Lanka Satellite and 2007 Malaysia International tournament. Khoo played at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games, winning the bronze medal in the men's team event.
