The Lairage Land is a 4.4 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Watford in Hertfordshire. It is owned and managed by Watford Borough Council. [1] [2]

The site is mainly rough grassland, with some woodland and scrub. The River Colne runs along its southern boundary, with stream water crowfoot and yellow water lily growing in the stream. There are birds such as whitethroats and green woodpeckers, gatekeeper and small tortoiseshell butterflies, and Roesel's bush-crickets. [1]

There is access from Jellicoe Road. [1]

Cassiobury Park

Cassiobury Park is the principal public park in Watford, Hertfordshire, in England. It was created in 1909 from the purchase by Watford Borough Council of part of the estate of the Earls of Essex around Cassiobury House which was subsequently demolished in 1927. It comprises over 190 acres (0.77 km2) and extends from the A412 Rickmansworth Road in the east to the Grand Union Canal in the west, and lies to the south of the Watford suburb of Cassiobury, which was also created from the estate. Rowhill Nature Reserve

Rowhill Nature Reserve or Rowhill Copse is a 26.6-hectare (66-acre) Local Nature Reserve (LNR) which straddles the border between Aldershot in Hampshire and Farnham in Surrey. It is owned by Rushmoor Borough Council, was declared an LNR by Waverley Borough Council and is managed by Rowhill Nature Reserve Society.

Rowley Green Common

Rowley Green Common is a six hectare Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Importance Metropolitan for Nature Conservation in Arkley, north London. It is owned by the London Borough of Barnet and according to the Natural England details page it is jointly managed by the Hertfordshire and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and the London Wildlife Trust, but as of August 2015 it is not on the list of reserves of either Trust. It is also registered common land.

Cuddington Meadows is a 1.4 hectare Local Nature Reserve and Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade I, in Belmont in the London Borough of Sutton. It is owned by Sutton Council and managed by the council together with Sutton Nature Conservation Volunteers.
