Udyogamandal School is a school for ages Kindergarten to Grade 12 located in Udyogamandal, Eloor, Kochi, India. It was established in 1965 by the management of Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), the largest public sector firm in Kerala. It was established to providing education to the children of FACT employees. Udyogamandal School is affiliated to the ICSE board, New Delhi.

History

The school started off in a small building where the Udyogamandal nursery currently functions. It was started in 1968.

Vypin is one of the group of islands that form part of the city of Kochi, in the Indian state of Kerala. Vypin forms a barrier island which lies between the Arabian Sea in the west and the Cochin backwaters formed by the various distributaries of Periyar river, in the east. The Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) is a university established by government of Kerala devoted to studies in fisheries and ocean sciences. The bill seeking to establish the university was passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly on 30 December 2010. KUFOS has its headquarters in the premises of the College of Fisheries, Panangad, near Madavana junction along the Kochi Bypass. The College of Fisheries, established in 1979, was a constituent college of the Kerala Agricultural University. KUFOS is the first university in India exclusively dedicated to studies in fisheries and allied disciplines.
