"For An Angel" is a trance track by German DJ Paul van Dyk, which served as his debut track and would become his most famous work. The song was initially released in 1994 as a track on 45 RPM on the MFS record label, which was van Dyk's first studio album. It was later reworked and re-released in 1998 as "E-Werk Remix" on Deviant Records, a homage to the E-Werk nightclub where van Dyk used to be the resident DJ, the song held number one on the UK Dance Chart for several weeks. Since its release, the track has become one of the greatest and most influential trance tracks of all time. It was voted as the eighth greatest dance record of all time by Mixmag readers. Hands on In Between is a remix album from Paul van Dyk, released on 24 November 2008. This album consists of two CDs of remixed songs featured on the original In Between album in 2007. Selections from this album were remixed by various trance artists in the scene. It also includes the winning remix from van Dyk's "Far Away Remix Competition" featured on Beatport earlier in the year. The winning remix was promised a release, in which progressive trance producer Mateo Murphy was given the honour. As well as a release on the "Far Away" single, his remix made it onto this compilation too.

The Politics of Dancing 3 is the seventh studio album by Paul van Dyk, released on 4 May 2015 by Ultra Music and Vandit. The album features many collaborations including Aly & Fila, Ummet Ozcan, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Las Salinas, Roger Shah, Jordan Suckley, and Sue McLaren.

Psydub is a fusion genre of electronic music that has its roots in psychedelic trance, ambient and dub music. Incorporated dub elements are melodic basslines, deep reggae roots and producing techniques like dynamically adding extensive echo, reverb, panoramic delay, and occasional dubbing of vocal or instrumental snippets from the original version or other works. An incorporated ambient element is an emphasis on tone and atmosphere. Incorporated psytrance elements are low-bass frequencies and hypnotic melodies and the use of samples. Those samples mostly contain references to drugs, parapsychology, extraterrestrial life, existentialism, out of body experiences, dreams, science, time travel, spirituality and similar mysterious or unconventional topics. Psydub is also highly influenced by the music of India.

Austin Harlan Leeds is an American DJ, recording artist, remixer, record producer and songwriter. Leeds has had a number of entries on the Billboard 200 and his work was mentioned in publications such as Rolling Stone and Billboard.
