"For An Angel" is a trance track by German DJ Paul van Dyk,which served as his debut track and would become his most famous work. The song was initially released in 1994 as a track on 45 RPM on the MFS record label,which was van Dyk's first studio album. It was later reworked and re-released in 1998 as "E-Werk Remix" on Deviant Records,a homage to the E-Werk nightclub where van Dyk used to be the resident DJ,the song held number one on the UK Dance Chart for several weeks. Since its release,the track has become one of the greatest and most influential trance tracks of all time. It was voted as the eighth greatest dance record of all time by Mixmag readers. Three music videos exist for the track;one from 1994,filmed in the Riviera Maya in Mexico. In this video,Paul van Dyk,dressed in Malibu clothing,is seen sitting under a palm tree on the beach,in a river and other various locations,and later watching local children playing football on the beach. Also appearing are various short clips of the scenery surrounding him. This video is available on van Dyk's Global album. The next video,from 1998,featuring footage from the Love Parade in Berlin. The third,from 2009,was filmed at an exhibition in L.A. and Berlin.

Van Dyk was the first artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination in the newly added category of Best Dance/Electronic album for his 2003 release Reflections. He was the first DJ to be named number one by Mixmag in 2005. By 2008,he had sold over 3 million albums worldwide.
Luigino Celestino di Agostino,known professionally as Gigi D'Agostino,is an Italian DJ,remixer,singer and record producer. In 1986,he started his career as a DJ spinning Italo disco. His biggest chart successes include "Bla Bla Bla","Another Way",a cover of Nik Kershaw's "The Riddle","La Passion","Super" and "L'Amour Toujours",all in the years 1999 and 2000. The hookline of "L'Amour Toujours" was also used for the 2018 hit remix/mashup "In My Mind".

Originally released in 1993 under the band name State of Grace,it was re-released in March 1995 as the first single from their only album,If I Could Fly (1996). It received critical acclaim from music critics,peaking at number six on the UK Singles Chart and number-one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Lead vocals and backing vocals were performed by singer Patti Low. In 1995,the lead vocals were replaced by new frontwoman and singer,Dominique Atkins for the album release,although Low's backing vocals remained in place. This Atkins/Low combination appeared on all subsequent re-releases and remixes of the track. The woman who appears in the accompanying music video is Low.
"The Other Side" is a single released on Paul van Dyk's second DJ mix album The Politics of Dancing 2. Paul van Dyk wrote the song in retort to the devastating tsunami which hit southeast Asia on 26 December 2004. Van Dyk believes it is important to recognise that many thousands of people were affected by this tragedy,and lost loved ones. "The Other Side" portrays the feeling of still being with a person,in one's thoughts,who has died. It expresses the faith and aspiration of seeing that person again on "the other side".
"Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)" is a song by French music producer and DJ Bob Sinclar,co-produced by regular partner Cutee B and featuring Dollarman,Big Ali,and Makedah on vocals. The song uses recreated parts of the 1990 hit "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C+C Music Factory and was released as the third major single off the album Western Dream,on 21 August 2006.
