14th Cinema Express Awards

The 14th Cinema Express Awards were held on 30 April 1994, [1] and honoured the best of South Indian films released in 1993. The awards were announced on 12 March 1994. [2]

Priyadarshan Soman, better known by the mononym Priyadarshan, is an Indian film director, writer and producer. He has done about 27 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by any Hindi film director after David Dhawan. The Screen Awards is an annual awards ceremony held in India honouring professional excellence in Bollywood. The nomination and award selection is done by a panel of distinguished professionals from the industry. The awards were introduced by the Screen film magazine of The Indian Express Group in 1995. The magazine was acquired by Star India in 2015 and subsequently closed down. Though Star India continues to sponsor the awards under the Star Screen Awards title.

Yajaman (transl. Chieftain) is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by R. V. Udayakumar. It stars Rajinikanth and Meena, and Napoleon, who plays the antagonist. The film was produced by M. Saravanan, M. S. Guhan and M. Subrahmaniam under the banner AVM Productions. Ilaiyaraaja scored and composed the film's soundtrack.

Suprabhatha is a 1988 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed and written by Dinesh Babu, making his first entry as a director. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Suhasini and Srividya. The music was composed by Rajan–Nagendra and the dialogues & lyrics were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. The film was presented by Charuhasan and produced by Prabha Raj.
