The 1681 Trondheim fire started on 18 April 1681, in a building near Nidelva. Large parts of the centre of Trondheim, Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. were destroyed, including the quay houses and Vår Frue Church. Timber merchant Thomas Hammond perished during the fire.

Nicolay August Andresen was a Norwegian banker. He was born in Christiania, a son of Nicolai Andresen and Engel Johanne Christiane Reichborn. He was a brother of merchant and factory owner Johan Henrik Andresen, and of silver mines manager Carl Ferdinand Andresen.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Færder National Park</span> National park in Norway

Færder National Park is a national park in Nøtterøy and Tjøme in Vestfold, Norway. It is mostly a marine park, and includes some islands and coastal areas. To the east, the national park borders to the Ytre Hvaler National Park. Færder covers an area of 340 km2 (130 sq mi), of which 325 km2 (125 sq mi) is sea and 15 km2 (6 sq mi) is land. The park was established on 23 August 2013. The park includes large parts of the archipelago of Bolærne, as well as the protected Færder Lighthouse and the ruins of Store Færder Lighthouse with its associated protected buildings.

Søilen Teater was a theatre that opened in Oslo in 1930. It was managed by Sophus Dahl until 1932. It was then a supporting stage for Chat Noir until 1934. From 1934 to 1939 the theatre was run by Henry Gleditsch, and from 1939 it was run by Aud Ricther. From 1942 it housed Leif Juster's stage Edderkoppen Theatre, and in 1945 it housed Studioteatret.
