The 1947 Swedish Ice Hockey Championship was the 25th season of the Swedish Ice Hockey Championship, the national championship of Sweden. AIK won the championship.

Åkers IF, abbreviated ÅIF, is a Swedish sports club founded in 1918 and based in Åkers styckebruk. As of 2013, the club has sections competing in association football, gymnastics, orienteering, and skiing.

Idrottsklubben Sleipner is a sports club in Norrköping, Sweden; the main sports are football and ten-pin bowling. It was founded in 1903, and named after the deity Odin's horse Sleipnir from Norse mythology. Currently, the club's senior men's team plays football in Division 2. They are mostly known for winning Allsvenskan in 1938, but have since been overshadowed by local rivals IFK Norrköping both locally and nationally. The club is affiliated to the Östergötlands Fotbollförbund. Bollklubben Forward, commonly known as BK Forward, is a football team from Örebro, Sweden. They play in Division 1 Norra. The club plays in a small multipurpose stadium called Trängens IP. The club is affiliated to the Örebro Läns Fotbollförbund.

Mora IK is a Swedish professional ice hockey club from Mora in northern Dalarna. They currently play in the SHL, the top flight of ice hockey in Sweden. Mora has previously played 25 seasons in the top tier, including four seasons in Elitserien, as the SHL was called at the time). The team has reached the finals of the Swedish Championships only once, in 1950, a match which they lost 7–2 to Djurgårdens IF. Mora has played in the top two tiers of Swedish hockey since the 1944–45 season.

IK Sirius is a Swedish bandy club located in Uppsala, currently playing in Elitserien. IK Sirius were formed in 1907 and play their home games at Studenternas Idrottsplats.

VIK Västerås HK is an ice hockey club from Västerås, Sweden. The team is currently playing in the second-tier league in Sweden, Hockeyallsvenskan. Västerås IK played 12 seasons in the top Swedish league Elitserien before the club went bankrupt and merged with the junior club, which changed name to VIK Västerås HK in 2005.

Södertälje Sportklubb, also known as Södertälje SK and often referred to as SSK, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club playing in HockeyAllsvenskan, the second highest level of pro hockey in Sweden. Södertälje were charter members of Elitserien when the league was founded in 1975 and have since played 24 seasons in the league. Södertälje SK's fan club is known as the "SSK Support".

IK Göta is a Swedish sports club, which was very successful in several sports such as Track & Field, Team Handball, Bowling, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey ice hockey, Soccer and Bandy during the 20th century. Most famous and successful sport was Ice Hockey. They won the Swedish ice hockey championship nine times, including the inaugural championship in 1922. The club was also operating bandy teams, both women's and men's, winning the Swedish Men's championship in bandy once, in 1927. In women's bandy they were far more successful winning eight (8) times, last time in 1984.
