The 1951 Swedish Ice Hockey Championship was the 28th season of the Swedish Ice Hockey Championship, the national championship of Sweden. Hammarby IF won the championship. This was the last season of the championship. It was also scheduled for 1952, but it was cancelled.

Forshaga IF sports club

Forshaga Idrottsförening is a Swedish sports club, founded in 1907, and based in Forshaga, Värmland. The club plays both ice hockey and association football. The football club's A-team plays in Division 4 Värmland as of 2013 season. The ice hockey team historically has been more successful, having played 12 seasons in Division 1 when it was the top tier of Swedish ice hockey. IIHF Hall of Fame members Nils Nilsson and Ulf Sterner played for the Forshaga. The hockey club's A-team currently plays in group E of Division 1, the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden.

Tranebergs IF was a professional ice hockey team based in Traneberg, Sweden. Founded in 1925, the team played in within the Swedish Divisions 1 and 2 until 1975. The team, whose colours were navy blue, red and white, was a steady competitor in Sweden's highest league from the 1920s to the 1950s, and was a semi-finalist in 1935.

Södertälje Sportklubb, also known as Södertälje SK and often referred to as SSK, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club playing in HockeyAllsvenskan, the second highest level of pro hockey in Sweden. Södertälje were charter members of Elitserien when the league was founded in 1975 and have since played 24 seasons in the league. Södertälje SK's fan club is known as the "SSK Support".
