Billboard Greatest Christmas Hits is a set of two Christmas-themed compilation albums released by Rhino Records in 1989, each featuring ten popular Christmas recordings from 1935 to 1983, many of which charted on the Billboard record charts. Both volumes were certified Gold by the RIAA in the U.S., with the second volume being certified Platinum.

"I Don't Care" is a 1955 song written by Webb Pierce and Cindy Walker and originally performed by Pierce. The song spent twelve weeks at number one on the C&W Best Seller charts and spent a total of 32 weeks on the charts. "The B-side of "I Don't Care" a song entitled, "Your Good for Nothing Heart" spent six weeks on the Juke Box and C&W Jockey charts.

"Missing You" is a song written by Red Sovine and Dale Noe, which was originally released by Red Sovine in 1955, and was later a hit single for Webb Pierce in 1957, Ray Peterson in 1961, and was posthumously a hit for Jim Reeves in 1972. Sovine's version was the B-side of Red Sovine and Webb Pierce's hit single "Why Baby Why".
