The 1960 Cork Junior Football Championship was the 62nd staging of the Cork Junior A Football Championship since its establishment by Cork County Board in 1895. The championship ran from 9 October to 20 November 1960.
The final was played on 20 November 1960 at Sam Maguire Park in Dunmanway, between Urhan and Mitchelstown, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. [1] Urhan won the match by 1–07 to 0–04 to claim their third championship title overall and a first title in 31 years. [2] [3]

The Cork Junior A Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the top-ranking junior clubs in the county of Cork in Ireland. It is the sixth tier overall in the entire Cork football championship system.
Mitchelstown GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association based in the town of Mitchelstown, Cork, Ireland. The club fields teams in competitions organized by the Cork GAA county board and the Avondhu GAA divisional board. The club plays only Gaelic football.
The North Cork Junior A Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Avondhu Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1926 for junior Gaelic football teams in the northern part of Cork.
