Interlagos Circuit Motorsport circuit in São Paulo, Brazil

The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, is a 4.309 km (2.677 mi) motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Interlagos. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener Adhemar de Barros. The traditional name of the circuit and of the neighborhood itself comes from the fact that it is located in a region between two large artificial lakes, Guarapiranga and Billings, which were built in the beginning of the 20th century to supply the city with water and electricity. In 1985 the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver José Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. Attached to its facilities there is a Kart circuit named after Ayrton Senna. The circuit runs counterclockwise.

Stock Car Pro Series is a touring car auto racing series based in Brazil. It is considered the major Brazilian and South American motorsports series. Felipe Giaffone Brazilian racing driver

Felipe Giaffone is a Brazilian former race car driver. He competed in the Indy Racing League between 2001 and 2006. His father, "Zeca" Giaffone is the 1987 Stock Car Brasil champion and Mil Milhas Brasil five times winner in the 1980s.

Daniel Gardano Serra is a Brazilian auto racing driver. He currently drives in the Stock Car Brasil and is a Ferrari Factory Driver. He won 3 times the Stock Car Brasil in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. He is a two time 24 Hours of Le Mans GTE Pro class winner, having won in 2017 with Darren Turner and Jonathan Adam, while driving for Aston Martin Racing, and again in 2019, with James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi, driving for AF Corse.

The 2008 Copa Nextel Stock Car was the 30th Stock Car Brasil season. It began on April 13 at the Interlagos and ended on December 7 at the same circuit, after twelve rounds. This season Volkswagen announced the retired from the championship.

AH Competições is a Brazilian auto racing team founded in 1996 by Stock Car Brasil co-founder Washington Bezerra and former racing driver Wilson Fittipaldi. The first winner was Affonso Giaffone Filho, and finished in December 1979 at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo, with a victory of Paulo Gomes and having as First Champion of Stock Car Brasil, Paulo Gomes.

The 1986 Stock Car Brasil Championship was the eighth season of Stock Car Brasil that consecrated as champion of this season, Marcos Gracia.
