Anthony Allcock is an English bowls player. Born in Leicestershire, England, he is considered to be one of the leading bowlers of his generation and was twice world outdoor singles champion and three times World Indoor Singles Champion.
The 1981 UEFA Cup Final was an association football match played over two legs between AZ '67 of the Netherlands and Ipswich Town of England. The first leg was played at Portman Road, Ipswich, on 6 May 1981 and the second leg was played on 20 May 1981 at the Olympic Stadium, Amsterdam. Sudden death was introduced with 16 competitors, it replaced the group format. The winners prize was £4,000, a record for bowls. John Dunn an 18-year-old from Tonbridge Wells defeated David Bryant, ending Bryant’s attempt to secure a fourth consecutive world title.
