The 1981 Guatemalan Liga Nacional was the 30th edition of the Guatemalan Liga Nacional. Comunicaciones F.C. won their 10th title after finishing first in the Final round. [1]

Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala association football league

Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala, formerly known as Liga Mayor "A" is a professional football division in Guatemala, the highest one in the country. It is sanctioned by the Federación Nacional de Fútbol de Guatemala. The champion and runner-up teams of the Liga Nacional's official tournaments qualify to participate in international competitions within their regional confederation. Twelve teams currently compose the league and compete for the national title. Comunicaciones and C.S.D. Municipal, both with 30 national titles, are the most successful clubs in the league to date.

Comunicaciones F.C. Guatemalan association football club

Comunicaciones Fútbol Club S.A., better known as Comunicaciones F.C., based in Guatemala City are one of the most popular and successful soccer clubs in Guatemala. Communicaciones has won 30 National Championships, including having won six consecutive titles, the most of any Guatemalan club team.

Club Xelajú MC association football club

Club Social y Deportivo Xelajú Mario Camposeco, commonly known as Xelajú MC or just Xela and nicknamed Superchivos is a Guatemalan football club competing in the Liga Nacional, the country's top footballing division. They are located in Quetzaltenango, Department of Quetzaltenango, and play their home matches in the Estadio Mario Camposeco. They are the most successful team not based in the capital city in the history of the league.

The 1982 CONCACAF Champions' Cup was the 18th edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region, the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. It determined that year's club champion of association football in the CONCACAF region and was played from 9 May till 17 November 1982.

The Copa Fraternidad 1982 was the 12th Central American club championship played between 8 clubs.
