Sint Maarten national football team

The Sint Maarten national football team is the football team of Sint Maarten, the Dutch half of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, and is controlled by the Sint Maarten Soccer Association. Sint Maarten is not a member of FIFA, and therefore not eligible to enter the World Cup. However, the association planned to apply for FIFA membership in 2016.

Sarah Wescot-Williams First Prime Minister of Sint Maarten

Sarah A. Wescot-Williams is the leader of the Democratic Party of Sint Maarten and the first Prime Minister of Sint Maarten. Even though her party only managed to secure two seats in the Sint Maarten general election of 2010, she was selected as Prime Minister in the coalition agreement between United People and the Democratic Party.

The sport of association football in the territory of Sint Maarten is run by the Sint Maarten Soccer Association. The association administers the men's national football team, the women's national football team, and various national leagues, predominantly the Sint Maarten Senior League.

The Liberation Stars are a Sint Maarten football club based in Philipsburg who competed in the Sint Maarten League while it was still in existence. The club has been reported to have been playing in Sint Maarten's top division since 2002, although the most recent records are from 2007.

Sint Maarten national cricket team

The Sint Maarten cricket team has represented the Dutch Overseas Territory of Sint Maarten in cricket. The team is not a member of the International Cricket Council, but is a member of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, which itself is a member association of the West Indies Cricket Board, and players from Sint Maarten generally represent the Leeward Islands cricket team at domestic level and the West Indies at international level. Sint Maarten has however played as a separate entity in matches which held Twenty20 status, but has not appeared in first-class or List A cricket. The team's current coach is Rishie Singh, who was appointed in 2009. As of September 2014, the team's captain is Kenroy David.

Flames United SC is a Sint Maarten football club that currently plays in the SMSA Senior League, the highest level of football on Dutch Sint Maarten. The club's home ground is the Raoul Illidge Sports Complex in Philipsburg, the country's capital. The club also fields a futsal team. The current manager is Omar Hunter and the current team captain is Loxley Parker.

Andre Knol is a St. Maartener international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Funmakers FC of the SMSA Senior League. At one point, he was one of the top four youngest senior international players in the world.

This is a list of Sint Maartener football clubs in international competitions. Sint Maartener clubs have participated in international club competitions since at least 1956, when there was the Bonaire–Sint Maarten series. Sint Maartener clubs have participated in competitive CONCACAF football competitions since at least 2017 when Flames United entered the 2017 CFU Club Championship. To date this is the only time a Sint Maartener team has participated in a CONCACAF competition.
