Scott David Zolak is an American broadcaster and former professional football player. He played quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, primarily with the New England Patriots. Over the course of his career, he played in 55 games, with 7 starts, for the Patriots and Miami Dolphins, completed 124 of 248 passes for 1,314 yards, threw eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, and finished his career with a passer rating of 64.8.
Joseph John Krivak was an American football player and coach. He served as head coach for the Maryland Terrapins football team from 1987 to 1991, where he compiled a 20–34–2 record. He also served as an assistant coach at Maryland, Syracuse, Navy, and Virginia. As a coach at Maryland, Krivak mentored future National Football League (NFL) quarterbacks Boomer Esiason, Neil O'Donnell, Frank Reich, Stan Gelbaugh, and Scott Zolak. In all, he coached on seven Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) championship team staffs and in 14 bowl games as an assistant or head coach.

Solt played in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 2001 Maryland Terrapins football team represented the University of Maryland in its 49th season in the Atlantic Coast Conference' (ACC). The Terps closed the regular season with a record of 10–1, with its only loss coming to Florida State. The Terps won the ACC championship and were granted a Bowl Championship Series berth in the 2002 Orange Bowl. It was Maryland's first bowl game since 1990, first winning season since 1995, and first conference championship since 1985.

Roger W. Brown, Jr. is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). He graduated from the Cardinal Gibbons School in 1986, where he lettered in football. Brown attended college at Virginia Tech and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the eighth round of the 1990 NFL Draft. Brown played three seasons in the NFL, with the New York Giants in 1990 and 1991 and the New England Patriots in 1992. He won the Super Bowl with the 1990 Giants.

He captained for the Maryland Terrapins during their undefeated (10-0) season in 1951 (#34). He went on to play football while serving in the United States Air Force at Bolling Air Force Base in 1954 and 1955. In 1956, he played in three games for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League.
