Sergi Bruguera defeated the two-time defending champion Jim Courier in the final, 6–4, 2–6, 6–2, 3–6, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1993 French Open. It was his first major singles title.
Defending champion Jim Courier defeated Stefan Edberg in a rematch of the previous year's final, 6–2, 6–1, 2–6, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1993 Australian Open. It was his second Australian Open title and fourth and last major singles title overall.

It was his second major title and the first of an eventual seven Wimbledon titles, an all-time record shared with William Renshaw until 2017 when Roger Federer won an eighth title.

Defending champion Pete Sampras defeated Andre Agassi in the final, 5–7, 6–3, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1994 Miami Open. With the win, he completed the Sunshine Double. The start of the final had been delayed for 50 minutes while Sampras received treatment for a stomach virus, and Agassi had the right to claim a walkover victory. Agassi instead chose to give Sampras the necessary time to receive the treatment that he needed so that he could play in the final.

Andriy Medvedev won in the final 7–5, 6–4 against Petr Korda.
