The Hopman Cup X (also known as the Hyundai Hopman Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the tenth edition of the Hopman Cup tournament between nations in men's and women's tennis. The tournament commenced on 4 January 1998 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Burswood, Western Australia.

The Hopman Cup is an international tennis tournament that plays mixed-gender teams on a country-by-country basis. It was first held in Perth, Western Australia each year from 1989 to 2019, played on indoor hardcourt, before being replaced on the calendar in 2020 by the now defunct ATP Cup. The tournament was played in an eight-team format, with the exception for the years 1990-1995, with twelve teams competing. It returned in July 2023 in Nice, France, played on outdoor clay, with six teams invited to participate.
The Dome at Crown Perth was a multi-purpose indoor arena used for sports and entertainment. The dome was 8,800 square metres (95,000 sq ft) in size, with seating for 13,600 people. The whole arena was pressurised so that the fibreglass roof was suspended 35 metres (115 ft) above the ground.
The 2007 Hopman Cup corresponds to the 19th edition of the Hopman Cup tournament between nations in men's and women's tennis. Eight teams participated in the World Group with one qualifier from the Asian region. The first matches were held on 30 December 2006 and the final took place on 5 January 2007 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth, Western Australia.
The 2006 Hopman Cup was the 18th Hopman Cup tournament. The champions were Lisa Raymond and Taylor Dent of the United States. The Netherlands qualified and reached the final. Michaëlla Krajicek won her singles match, and Taylor Dent beat Peter Wessels. The mixed doubles competition was won in close sets by Raymond and Dent. The event was held at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth on 30 December 2005 through 6 January 2006. This was the first elite-level tennis tournament in which players could challenge line calls using the Hawk-Eye technology. Players or teams had a limit of two unsuccessful challenges per set.
The 2005 Hopman Cup was the 17th edition of the Hopman Cup. Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchová and Dominik Hrbatý of Slovakia were the champions, when they defeated Argentina in the final. It was Slovakia's second Hopman Cup win. The event took place at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth from 1 January 2005 through 8 January 2005. The round robin event had one African nation that played in the main draw of this year's Hopman Cup: Zimbabwe, who lost 1–2 to The Netherlands.
