The 1999 London Broncos season was the twentieth in the club's history and their fourth season in the Super League. The Broncos had three coaches over the course of the season, competing in Super League IV and finishing in 8th place. The club also made their maiden appearance in the final of the Challenge Cup.

The London Broncos progressed to the Final of the Cup, before losing to the Leeds Rhinos by 52–16 at the Old Wembley Stadium in London. [4] [5]

Marcus "George" Bai is a Papua New Guinean former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. An international representative winger, he represented Papua New Guinea on numerous occasions including at the 1995 Rugby League World Cup. Bai played club football for English clubs the Hull FC, Leeds Rhinos and the Bradford Bulls, as well as Australian clubs the Gold Coast Chargers and Melbourne Storm. He became the first player to have won the World Club Challenge with three clubs. In 2005 he was minutes away from being the first person to win all of the major domestic competitions in both Australia and England however Hull F.C. struck with minutes to go in the Challenge Cup final to deny Leeds Rhinos the Challenge Cup and him a place in the history books.

Leroy Rivett is an English former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. Matthew Salter is an English former rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He was educated at St Dunstan's College in London. He played for Bristol in the Guinness Premiership. He primarily played as a Flanker or in the Second Row.

The 1999 Challenge Cup, known as the Silk Cut Challenge Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 98th staging of the Challenge Cup, a European rugby league cup competition. The competition ended with the final on 1 May 1999, which was played at Wembley Stadium, and was the last year the cup final was played there before the stadium was closed for redevelopment.

The 2015 Challenge Cup Final was the 114th cup-deciding game of the rugby league 2015 Challenge Cup Season. It was held at Wembley Stadium in London on 29 August 2015, kick off 15:15. The final was contested by Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos. The game saw Leeds Rhinos beat Hull KR by 50 points to nil in what remains the biggest victory in Challenge Cup Final history.

The 2005 London Broncos season was the twenty-sixth in the club's history and their tenth season in the Super League. The club was coached by Tony Rea, competing in Super League X, finishing in 6th place and competing in the end of season play-offs. The club also got to the Quarter-finals round of the Challenge Cup.
