Formula Three, also called Formula 3, abbreviated as F3, is a third-tier class of open-wheel formula racing. The various championships held in Europe, Australia, South America and Asia form an important step for many prospective Formula One drivers.

Masters of Formula 3

The Masters of Formula 3 was a Formula Three race held annually, usually at the Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Due to noise restrictions in the Zandvoort area, the 2007 and 2008 races were held in the Belgian circuit of Zolder. However, it returned to Zandvoort for the 2009 race.

ADAC Formel Masters was an ADAC sanctioned open wheel racing series based in Germany, held annually from 2008 to 2014. It was replacement of the local Formula BMW championship. The first season was in 2008 and is the main feeder series to the ATS Formula 3 Cup. Like Formula Ford, French F4 Championship and Formula Abarth, the Formel Masters is aimed at karting graduates. In 2015 it was replaced by the ADAC Formula 4.

Van Amersfoort Racing is an auto racing team based in the Netherlands. In 2022 the team competes in the Formula 2 Championship, the Formula Regional European Championship, Euroformula Open Championship, Italian F4 Championship and the German ADAC Formula 4 Championship.

The 25-lap race was won by Takuma Sato, for Carlin Motorsport who started from the pole position and led every lap. André Lotterer of Jaguar Racing finished in second, 9.2 seconds behind Sato, whose teammate Anthony Davidson placed third.

The 2002 Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 was the twelfth Masters of Formula 3 race held at Circuit Park Zandvoort on 11 August 2002. It was won by Fabio Carbone, for Fortec Motorsport.

2005 Masters of Formula 3

The 2005 Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 was the fifteenth Masters of Formula 3 race held at Circuit Park Zandvoort on 12 June 2005. It was won by Lewis Hamilton, for ASM Formule 3.

The 1996 German Formula Three Championship was the 22nd edition of the German Formula Three Championship. It commenced on 14 April 1996 and ended on 13 October. Italian driver Jarno Trulli won the title with six wins for the Swiss Opel Team KMS Benetton Formula.

The 2011 ATS Formel 3 Cup was the ninth edition of the German F3 Cup and the last one with FIA specification F3 engines. For the 2012 season, the series will use Volkswagen engines only. The season began on 23 April at Oschersleben and finished on 2 October at Hockenheim after nine race weekends, totalling eighteen races.

The 2011 Masters of Formula 3 was the twenty-first Masters of Formula 3 race, and was held at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands on 14 August 2011.

The 1997 German Formula Three Championship was the 23rd edition of the German Formula Three Championship. It commenced on 26 April 1997 and ended on 15 October. Opel Team BSR driver Nick Heidfeld won the championship title after a title battle with Benetton RTL Junior's Timo Scheider.

The 2000 German Formula Three Championship was a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seat open wheel formula racing cars that held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in two-litre Formula Three racing cars built by Dallara and Martini which conform to the technical regulations, or formula, for the championship. It commenced on 22 April at Zolder and ended at Hockenheim on 29 October after ten double-header rounds.

ma-con is a German motor racing team. It was founded in 2001 by Marian Hamprecht. The team started racing in the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup and Formula Renault 2000 Germany in 2002. Currently the team competes in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The team always focussed on regional and continental championships in Germany and Europe.

Dallara F312 Dallara F312 wheel racing car

The Dallara F312 is an open-wheel racing car developed by Italian manufacturer Dallara for use in all Formula Three categories. The car has proved to be one of the most popular Formula 3 Chassis ever, with over 53 of the original type having been produced. Even after its successor the Dallara F317 was introduced, the F312 remained widely used, in championships such as the Euroformula Open Championship and the Japanese Formula 3 Championship.
