The 2002 Liga Indonesia Premier Division Final was a football match that was played on 7 July 2002 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. It was contested by Persita Tangerang and Petrokimia Putra to determine the winner of the 2002 Liga Indonesia Premier Division. Petrokimia Putra won the match 2–1 thanks to a golden goal from Yao Eloii. With the result, Petrokimia Putra claim their first-ever professional title. [1] [2]

2002 AFF Championship Piala Tiger 2002

The 2002 AFF Championship, officially known as the 2002 Tiger Cup, was co-hosted by Indonesia and Singapore from November 2002 to 13 January 2003 and participated by all national teams of the member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation entered except for Brunei. The championship started off with group matches, where the top two teams from each group advanced to the semi-finals and the final.

The association football tournament at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games took place from 3 to 21 November 2011. This edition of the tournament was only for the men's competition, women's competition was not held as the host country Indonesia did not have enough stadiums to hold the matches. It was played among U-23 national teams. All matches took place in Jakarta. This was the first time that all Southeast Asian nations participated in the football tournament at the same edition of the SEA Games.

Indonesia Presidents Cup

The Indonesia President's Cup is a pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia, and run by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) replacing the folded previous tournament, Indonesian Inter Island Cup. Originally, the tournament was founded to fill the void of the league when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. The tournament has held four times, most recently in 2019.

It was contested by Petrokimia Putra and Persib Bandung to determine the inaugural winner of the Premier Division. Persib won the match 1–0 with the goal scored by Sutiono Lamso in the 76th minute for their first-ever professional title. For winning the title, Persib gained entry to the 1995 Asian Club Championship. Meanwhile, Petrokimia Putra gained entry to the 1995 Asian Cup Winners' Cup as runners-up.

The 2005 Liga Indonesia Premier Division Final was a football match which was played on 25 September 2005 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. It was contested by Persija Jakarta and Persipura Jayapura to determine the winner of the 2005 Liga Indonesia Premier Division. Persipura won the match 3–2 after 120 minutes to claim their first-ever professional title.
