Persatuan Sepakbola Serang, commonly known as Perserang, is an Indonesian football club based in Serang Regency, Banten. They play in the Liga 3 since they relegated.

History

They were founded in 1958. [1] In November 2014, they were promoted to the Liga Indonesia Premier Division for the first time in their history after finishing third in Group 11 of the Second National Round of 2014 Liga Nusantara. [2]

Maulana Yusuf Stadium is the name of a football stadium in the city of Serang, Banten, Indonesia. It was named after the third Sultan of Banten is used as the home venue for Perserang Serang of the Liga Indonesia. The stadium has a capacity of 15,000. The stadium was built in 1983.

The 2022–23 Liga 2 was the sixth season of the Liga 2 under its current name and the 13th season under its current league structure. 28 teams, an increase of four teams from the previous season's campaign, participated for the season.
