Dejan Football Club Depok, commonly known as Dejan, is an Indonesian football club based in Mampang, Pancoran Mas, Depok, West Java. They currently compete in the Liga 2.

History

Dejan FC was originally an amateur football club, and they debuted in the Liga 3 West Java Seri 1 zone in the 2022–23 season. They made it to the final but lost to Persipasi Kota Bekasi by 1–0. [3]

In the following season, Dejan FC could only finish 3rd in group B and failed to make it to the second round. However, their performance in the previous season which became the runner-up of the Liga 3 West Java Seri 1 Zone in the 2022–23 season, Dejan FC earned a ticket to the national round. They began their run in the national round of the top 80 in the 2023–24 season, The results were quite positive, they won 2–0 against TS Saiburai on 29 April 2024, and won 5–0 over PS Palembang on 5 May 2024, followed by a draw against Perse Ende with a score of 3–3 two days later. This result brought Dejan FC through the round of 32. In the first match of the round of 32 they successfully defeated the 2023 Liga 3 Central Java champions Persip Pekalongan with a final score of 2–1 on 11 May 2024. After being held to a 2–2 draw against PSGC Ciamis two days later, Dejan FC can finally ensure qualification for the round of 16 after winning 4–1 over Persikasi Bekasi on 15 May 2024. [4]

In the round of 16, Dejan FC joined in group C. Dejan FC could only score one goal in each match they played in the round of 16. But even though they could only score one goal in three matches, the results were quite positive. In their first match, they won 1–0 against Persipani Paniai on 21 May 2024. [4]

Continued to be held to a 1–1 draw against Persipasi Kota Bekasi on 23 May 2024, until finally the certainty of Dejan FC qualifying for the last 8 was determined after a 1–0 win over Tornado two days later. In the Round of 8, Dejan FC joined in group 1, and will compete with Persekabpas Pasuruan, Persikas Subang, and Adhyaksa Farmel. [4] Dejan FC secure their promotion to Liga 2 next season after beating Persekabpas 3–0 and Persikas 2–0.
