The 2002 Wimbledon Championships was a tennis tournament played on grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London in the United Kingdom. It was the 116th edition of the Wimbledon Championships and were held from 24 June to 7 July 2002. It was the third Grand Slam tennis event of the year.

Barbora Strýcová, formerly known as Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová, is a retired Czech tennis player. Her highest WTA rankings were No. 16 in singles and No. 1 in doubles. Her best singles and doubles Grand Slam performances both came at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, where she reached the singles semifinals and won the women's doubles title alongside Hsieh Su-wei.
