The 2004 Big 12 Conference softball tournament was held at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK from May 12 through May 15, 2004. Nebraska won their third conference tournament and earned the Big 12 Conference's automatic bid to the 2004 NCAA Division I softball tournament. [2] [3]

Nebraska, Texas A&M, Missouri, Baylor and Oklahoma received bids to the NCAA tournament. [4] Oklahoma would go on to play in the 2004 Women's College World Series.

The 2013 Oklahoma Sooners softball team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 2013 NCAA Division I softball season. The Sooners were coached by Patty Gasso, who led her nineteenth season. The Sooners finished with a record of 57–4. They played their home games at OU Softball Complex and competed in the Big 12 Conference, where they finished first with a 15–2 record.
