The 2006 Copa Indonesia Final [1] was a football match that took place on 16 September 2006 at Gelora Delta Stadium in Sidoarjo. It was the second final of Piala Indonesia and contested by final debutants Persipura Jayapura and title holders Arema Malang. Arema successfully defended their title with a 2–0 win and gained entry to the 2007 AFC Champions League group stage.

Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium, also known as Jakabaring Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Jakabaring Sport City complex in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Gelora Delta Sidoarjo is a multi-purpose stadium in the regency of Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia. The stadium is located within Greater Surabaya metropolitan area. It is currently mostly used for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 35,000 people. The stadium was built for organizing the PON XV 2000, which was hosted by East Java and after the event East Java PON museum was built in front of the stadium.

Putra Delta Sidoarjo were promoted to Liga 2 next season, and in the 2022–22 Liga 3 final match, they lost against Karo United on penalties, but with his status as runner-up Liga 3 is a proud achievement for the club's history.
