The 2006 season of the Polish American Football League (PLFA) was the 1st season played by the major american football league in Poland. Regular season play was held from October 8 to November 5, 2006. The Polish champion title was eventually won by the Warsaw Eagles when they defeated the Pomorze Seahawks; the Polish Bowl championship game, at Marymont stadium in Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship on November 12. The SuperFinał is the championship game of the Polish American Football League (PLFA). The first Polish Bowl played on November 12, 2006 in Warsaw at the Marymont stadium between top two teams in regular season. Since 2007 in the Polish Bowl game is played between Semi-Final winners.

The 2011 season of the Polish American Football League was the 6th season played by the major american football league in Poland. It was the first time that the PLFA I consisted of ten teams. The regular season took place between April 2 and June 19, 2011. The Polish champion was determined in the play-off final; the VI SuperFinal PLFA. The Crew Wrocław beat the defending champion Devils Wrocław 27–26. The championship game was broadcast live on Sportklub channel, as a first PLFA game ever.

The 1.KFA Fireballs Wielkopolska is a Polish American football club from Poznań, Greater Poland Voivodeship, which currently competes in the PLFA II, the second division of Polish American Football League. The Fireballs is one of four founders of the Polish American Football League.
