The 2006 US Open Men's Qualifying Tournament ran from August 22 to 25. Sixteen players qualified for the Men's Singles Main Draw, which started on August 28.

The 2007 Tennis Channel Open was a tennis event on the 2007 ATP Tour. Lleyton Hewitt, who was the 2006 runner-up, was the singles champion, while Bob and Mike Bryan were the doubles champions. The event was held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Darling Tennis Center. It was the twentieth Tennis Channel Open, but just the second to be held in Las Vegas. The ITF women's competition was won by Caroline Wozniacki in singles and by Victoria Azarenka and Tatiana Poutchek for doubles.

Florent Serra was the defending champion, but was eliminated in the round robin competition.

Novak Djokovic defeated Mardy Fish in the final, 6–2, 5–7, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2008 Indian Wells Masters.

Nikolay Davydenko defeated Rafael Nadal in the final, 6–4, 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2008 Miami Open. It was his second Masters title.

Two-time defending champion Andre Agassi defeated Carlos Moyá in the final, 6–3, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2003 Miami Open.

Rafael Nadal defeated Andy Murray in the final, 6–1, 6–2 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2009 Indian Wells Masters. Nadal saved five match points en route to the title, in his fourth-round match against David Nalbandian.

Andy Murray defeated Novak Djokovic in the final, 6–2, 7–5 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2009 Miami Open.

Lleyton Hewitt beat Wayne Odesnik in the final, 6–2, 7–5.

The US Open Men's Qualifying Tournament ran from 21 August 2007 to 24 August 2007. Sixteen players qualified for the main draw, which started on Monday 27 August 2007.
