The 2009/10 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup was the thirty first World Cup season in freestyle skiing organised by International Ski Federation. The season started on 12 December 2009 and lasted until 18 March 2010. [1] [2] This season included three disciplines: moguls, aerials and ski cross. There were no halfpipe and dual moguls events this season on calendar.

Mikaël Kingsbury is a Canadian freestyle skier and is the most accomplished mogul skier of all time. He achieved eminence early in his career after earning the 2009–10 FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year award. He is a nine-time FIS Freestyle World Cup title-holder for both moguls and overall freestyle, owning the records for most men's Moguls World Cup titles and Overall Freestyle World Cup titles. He also owns the records for career World Cup moguls victories with 71, and consecutive Freestyle World Cup event wins with 13. He is the first man to have won both the moguls and dual moguls World Championship events, and has won the most medals at the Freestyle World Championships of any male competitor in history, having won a medal in 11 of the 12 events he has competed in. Kingsbury won the Olympic silver medal in 2014, and, at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, he won the gold medal as Olympic champion of men's moguls.

The 2011–12 FIS Snowboard World Cup was a multi race tournament over a season for snowboarding. The season started on 28 August 2011 and ended on 17 March 2012. The World Cup was organised by the FIS which also runs world cups and championships in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, and freestyle skiing. The FIS Snowboarding World Cup consisted of the parallel slalom, snowboard cross and the halfpipe. The men's side of the world cup also consisted of three big air competitions.

The 49th World Cup season began on 25 October 2014, in Sölden, Austria, and concluded on 22 March 2015 at the World Cup finals in Meribel, France. The defending overall champions from the 2014 season - Marcel Hirscher and Anna Fenninger, both of Austria, defended their titles successfully. The season started on 21 October 2022 in Chur, Switzerland and will concluded on 25 March 2023 in Silvaplana, Switzerland. This season included six disciplines: moguls, aerials, ski cross, halfpipe, slopestyle and big air.
