Qarabağ FK association football club based in Baku

Qarabağ Futbol Klubu, commonly known as Qarabağ is an Azerbaijani football club playing in the Azerbaijan Premier League. The club originates from Agdam, a now-ruined ghost town labelled the Hiroshima of Caucasus, but has not played in its hometown since 1993 due to the Nagorno-Karabakh war. The club is now based in the capital city of Baku.

FC Honka association football club

Bangor City F.C. is a Welsh football club based in Bangor, Gwynedd, who currently play in the Cymru North, the second tier of organised football in Wales. City's first participation in European competition was during the 1962–63 season, when they competed in the European Cup Winners' Cup after winning the Welsh Cup. The club's first match was against Napoli of the Italian Serie A. The Gabala FC 2010–11 season was Gabala's fifth Azerbaijan Premier League season, which they finished in 7th position. They were knocked out of the Azerbaijan Cup by Baku at the Quarter Finals stage. It was their first season Tony Adams as their manager.

The Gabala FC 2011-12 season is Gabala FC's sixth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their second season under manager Tony Adams. On 16 November 2011, Adams resigned due to family problems. Adams' replacement was announced as Fatih Kavlak.

The Baku 2011-12 season was Baku's fourteenth Azerbaijan Premier League season, in which they finished in 6th position. They also took part in the 2011–12 Azerbaijan Cup, which they won beating Neftchi Baku in the final and therefore qualified for the First qualifying round of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League. It was their first full season under the management of Aleksandrs Starkovs.

The Inter Baku 2010–11 season was Inter Baku's tenth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their second season under manager Kakhaber Tskhadadze. Inter Baku were reigning champions of the Azerbaijan Premier League, but failed to defend their title finishing 5th and missing out on European qualification. Inter also participated in the Azerbaijan Cup, where they lost in the Final to Khazar Lankaran on penalties, and the UEFA Champions League where they were knocked out on penalties in the Second Qualifying Round by Lech Poznań of Poland.

The AZAL 2010–11 season was AZAL's sixth Azerbaijan Premier League season. AZAL finished the season in 8th place and were knocked out of the 2010–11 Azerbaijan Cup by Inter Baku in the semi-finals. It was their first full season under the management of Nazim Suleymanov. The team's kit was supplied by Umbro and their sponsor was Silk Way.

The Qarabağ 2009-10 season was Qarabağ's seventeenth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their second season under Gurban Gurbanov. They finished the season in 3rd place, and were knocked out of the 2009–10 Azerbaijan Cup at the quarterfinal stage by Khazar Lankaran. They also participated in the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League, entering at the Second Qualifying Round stage. They beat Rosenborg BK of Norway, before beating FC Honka of Finland in the Third Qualifying Round. This meant they faced FC Twente of the Netherlands in the Play-off Round, which they lost 1-3 on aggregate.

The Qarabağ 2014-15 season was Qarabağ's 23rd Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their seventh season under manager Gurban Gurbanov. They completed a domestic double by defending their Premier League title and winning the Azerbaijan Cup. In Europe, Qarabağ were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the 3rd qualifying round by Red Bull Salzburg, resulting in them going into the Play-off round for the UEFA Europa League. In the Europa League, Qarabağ reached the Group Stages for the first time, where they finished third, behind Internazionale and Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, and ahead of Saint-Étienne.

The Qarabağ 2015-16 season is Qarabağ's 24th Azerbaijan Premier League season, of which they are defending champions, and will be their eighth season under manager Gurban Gurbanov. They will participate in the League, the Azerbaijan Cup and the UEFA Champions League, entering at the Second qualifying round.

The Khazar Lankaran 2015-16 season is Khazar Lankaran's twelfth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their first season under manager Elbrus Mammadov. They will compete in the Azerbaijan Cup and the League.

The 2016–17 season is Gabala FK's 12th season, and their 11th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. As well as participating in the Premier League, Gabala will take part in the Azerbaijan Cup and UEFA Europa League.

The 2017–18 season was Gabala FK's 13th season, and their 12th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Gabala finished the season in second place, 16 points behind champions Qarabağ. In the Azerbaijan Cup were runners-up for the second year in a row, losing to Keşla 1-0 in the final whilst they also reached the Third qualifying round of the Europa League before being knocked out by Panathinaikos.

The 2017–18 season was Qarabağ's 26th Azerbaijan Premier League season, of which they were defending champions, and was their tenth season under manager Gurban Gurbanov.

The 2018–19 season was Gabala's 14th season in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. The club participated in the Premier League, finishing fourth. They also entered the Azerbaijan Cup, defeating Sumgayit 1-0 to win their first title. They also played in the Europa League, where they were eliminated by Progrès Niederkorn in the First Qualifying Round.

The Qarabağ 2018–19 season is Qarabağ's 27th Azerbaijan Premier League season, of which they are defending champions, and will be their eleventh season under manager Gurban Gurbanov.
