It will play from the year 2010 in a simultaneous way and preliminary to the Torneo Descentralizado among the 16 teams of first division. Each team will have in staff to twelve 21-year-old players, three of 19 and three experienced; whenever they be recorded in the club. The team champion in this tournament will offer two points and the runner-up a point of bonus to the respective regular team in the 2010 Torneo Descentralizado.

The 2010 season was Universitario de Deportes' 82nd season in the Peruvian Primera División and 45th in the Torneo Descentralizado. This article shows player statistics and all matches that the club played during the 2010 season.

The 2011 Torneo Descentralizado de Fútbol Profesional was the ninety-fifth season of Association Peruvian football. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament, with Universidad de San Martín as the defending champion. The Torneo Descentralizado began on 12 February and concluded on 14 December with the victory of Juan Aurich over Alianza Lima in the penalty kicks of the final Play-off, giving Juan Aurich its debut Peruvian title.

The 2011 Torneo Intermedio was played between June and July while the Peru national football team prepared for and competed in the 2011 Copa América. The tournament was played as a knockout competition, with the participation of the 16 teams of the Primera División, and 19 invited teams of which 5 compete in the Segunda División and 14 amateur teams. The winners, José Gálvez, disputed the 2012 Copa Federación against the 2011 Torneo Descentralizado champion, Juan Aurich.

The 2021 Copa Bicentenario was a tournament with the participation of the 18 teams of the Liga 1, and 12 teams of the Liga 2. The champions will qualify for the 2022 Copa Sudamericana, as well as the Supercopa Peruana against the Liga 1 champions. Atlético Grau were the defending champions.
