The 2012 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament took place from May 22 through 26. All eight teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Missouri State's Hammons Field in Springfield, MO. Creighton won their third tournament championship and second in a row and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. [2] [3]

Seeding and format

The league's eight teams were seeded based on conference winning percentage. They then played a two bracket, double-elimination format tournament, with the winner of each bracket then playing a single elimination final.

The 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Baseball tournament will be held in Springfield, Missouri at Hammons Field. The 1991 NCAA Division I baseball tournament was played at the end of the 1991 NCAA Division I baseball season to determine the national champion of college baseball. The tournament concluded with eight teams competing in the College World Series, a double-elimination tournament in its forty fifth year. Each region was composed of six teams, resulting in 48 teams participating in the tournament at the conclusion of their regular season, and in some cases, after a conference tournament. The 2012 Great West Conference baseball tournament took place from May 22 through 26. All eight of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament to be held at Utah Valley University's Brent Brown Ballpark in Orem, Utah. Utah Valley won their third championship by a score of 10-6, having advanced undefeated in conference regular season and tournament play. As the Great West is a new conference, the league does not have an automatic bid to the 2012 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Utah Valley has won all three Great West Conference baseball tournaments.

The 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season, play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on February 15, 2013. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball tournament and 2013 College World Series. The College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament and held annually in Omaha, Nebraska, at TD Ameritrade Park concluded on June 25, 2013 with the final game of the best of three championship series. The tournament champion, LSU, earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

All eight teams will participate in the double-elimination tournament, which was held at Illinois State's Duffy Bass Field in Normal, Illinois. Edwin Servais is an American college baseball coach and small-ball connoisseur, currently the head coach at Creighton University, a member of the Big East Conference in NCAA Division I. He has held the position since July 2003, and has led the Bluejays to four appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

Dallas Baptist won the tournament for the first time, earning the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The 2015 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament was held from May 19 through 23, 2015. All eight baseball-sponsoring schools in the conference participated in the double-elimination tournament at Wichita State's Eck Stadium in Wichita, Kansas. The 1978 Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball tournament was held February 27–March 5; the first two rounds were played on campus sites with the semifinal and final contested at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska, hosted by Creighton University.

The 2018 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament was held from May 23 through 26. All eight baseball-sponsoring schools in the conference participated in the double-elimination tournament that was held at Dallas Baptist's Horner Ballpark in Dallas, Texas. The winner of the tournament earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The 2011 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament took place from May 24 through 28. All eight teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Creighton's TD Ameritrade Park Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Creighton won their second tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The 2021 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament was held from May 25 through 30, 2021. All eight baseball-sponsoring schools in the conference participated in the double-elimination tournament held at Southern Illinois University's Itchy Jones Stadium in Carbondale, Illinois. The winner of the tournament, Dallas Baptist, earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The 2010 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament took place from May 25 through 29. All eight teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Wichita State's Eck Stadium - Tyler Field in Wichita, Kansas. Illinois State won their second tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

The 2022 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament will be held from May 24 through 29.
