The 2012 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament took place at Fluor Field at the West End in Greenville, SC from May 23 through May 27. The final game was televised on ESPN3

Contents

The tournament used a double-elimination format. Only the top eight teams in the conference standings participated, leaving three UNC Greensboro, Wofford, and Davidson out. [2]

Samford went 4–0 to win the tournament, clinching the conference's automatic berth in the 2012 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament and the school's first ever Regional appearance. 2012 also marks the school's first baseball championship since joining the Southern Conference in 2008.

2010 Southern Conference Mens Basketball Tournament

The 2010 Southern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament took place March 5–8 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first and quarterfinal rounds took place at Bojangles' Coliseum. The semifinals and championship game were played at Time Warner Cable Arena. The semifinals were broadcast on SportsSouth and the championship game was broadcast on ESPN2. The winner of the tournament, the Wofford Terriers, received an automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. It was Wofford's first appearance.

The Georgia Southern Eagles volleyball program was established in 1985. The team is currently led by head coach Chad Callihan. The Eagles compete in the Sun Belt Conference. Georgia Southern University does not have a men's team.

The 2011–12 The Citadel Bulldogs basketball team represented The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in the 2011-12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs were led by second year head coach Chuck Driesell and played their home games at McAlister Field House. They are a member of the South Division of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 6–24, 3–15 in SoCon play to finish in last place in the South Division. They lost in the first round of the SoCon Basketball Tournament to Western Carolina.

The 2006 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in Charleston, SC from May 23 through May 27. Second seeded College of Charleston won the tournament and earned the Southern Conference's automatic bid to the 2006 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. It was the Cougars' first SoCon tournament win.

The 2005 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament was held at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in Charleston, SC from May 23 through May 27. Eighth seeded Furman won the tournament and earned the Southern Conference's automatic bid to the 2005 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. It was the Paladins' second SoCon tournament win.

The annual event determined the conference champion of the Division I Southern Conference in college baseball. Georgia Southern won the tournament for the sixth time, earning the league's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. This is the last of 18 athletic championships held by the conference in the 2013–14 academic year.

The Citadel Bulldogs baseball represents The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in college baseball at the NCAA Division I level. The program was established in 1899, and has continuously fielded a team since 1947. Their primary rivals are College of Charleston, Furman and VMI.

The 2015 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament will be held from May 19 through May 24 at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park in Charleston, South Carolina. The annual event determines the conference champion of the Division I Southern Conference in college baseball. The tournament winner earns the league's bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. This is the last of 20 athletic championships held by the conference in the 2013–14 academic year.

The 2021 Southern Conference Women's Soccer Tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Southern Conference held from October 26 through November 7, 2021. The tournament was held at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting. The ten-team single-elimination tournament consisted of four rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Furman Paladins were the defending champions but were unable to defend their crown, losing 4–2 in the final to the Samford Bulldogs. This was the fourth Southern Conference tournament title for the Samford women's soccer program, all four of which have come under coach Todd Yelton. As tournament champions, Samford earned the Southern Conference's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
