The 2012–13 Chattanooga Mocs basketball team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mocs, led by ninth year head coach John Shulman, played their home games at the McKenzie Arena and were members of the North Division of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 13–19, 8–10 in SoCon play to finish in fifth place in the North Division. They lost in the first round of the SoCon tournament to UNC Greensboro. [1]

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Spartans Men's Basketball team represents the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in NCAA Division I. The school's team currently competes in the Southern Conference.
The 2010 Southern Conference men's basketball tournament took place March 5–8 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first and quarterfinal rounds took place at Bojangles' Coliseum. The semifinals and championship game were played at Time Warner Cable Arena. The semifinals were broadcast on SportsSouth and the championship game was broadcast on ESPN2. The winner of the tournament, the Wofford Terriers, received an automatic bid to the 2010 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. It was Wofford's first appearance.
The 2011–12 The Citadel Bulldogs basketball team represented The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs were led by second-year head coach Chuck Driesell and played their home games at McAlister Field House. They were a member of the South Division of the Southern Conference (SoCon). They finished the season 6–24, 3–15 in SoCon play, to finish in last place in the South Division. They lost in the first round of the SoCon Basketball tournament to Western Carolina.

The 2011–12 Davidson Wildcats men's basketball team represented Davidson College in NCAA men's Division I competition. The Wildcats were coached by Bob McKillop in his 23rd year and played their home games at John M. Belk Arena. They compete in the Southern Conference's South Division. They finished the season 25–8, 16–2 in SoCon play to be crowned South Division Champions and overall regular season champions. They were the champions of the SoCon Basketball tournament to earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2012 NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Louisville.
The 2011–12 Appalachian State Mountaineers men's basketball team represented Appalachian State University during the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mountaineers, led by 2nd year head coach Jason Capel, played their home games at Holmes Center and are members of the Southern Conference's North Division. They finished the season 13–18, 7–11 in SoCon play to finish in fifth place in the North Division and lost in the quarterfinals of the SoCon tournament to UNC Greensboro.
The 2011–12 UNC Greensboro Spartans men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Greensboro during the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Spartans began the year coached by Mike Dement who resigned after ten games. Wes Miller was named interim coach on December 13, 2011, and became the youngest Division I men's basketball coach in the nation. The team plays its home games at Greensboro Coliseum and are members of the North Division of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 13–19, 10–8 in SoCon play to be champions of the North Division. They lost in the semifinals of the Southern Conference Basketball tournament to Western Carolina.

The Bulldogs were led by second-year head coach Duggar Baucom and played their home games at McAlister Field House in Charleston, South Carolina. They played as a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon), as they have since 1936–37. They finished the season 12–21, 4–14 in SoCon play, to finish in a tie for eighth place. They defeated Western Carolina in the first round of the SoCon tournament to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to UNC Greensboro.
The 2017–18 Chattanooga Mocs women's basketball team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Mocs, led by fifth-year head coach Jim Foster, played their home games at the McKenzie Arena as members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). The Mocs finished the season 17–13, 8–6 in third place in the SoCon, losing to UNC Greensboro in the conference tournament. They received an at-large berth in the 2018 WNIT and lost in the first round to UAB.
The 2017–18 Wofford Terriers men's basketball team represented Wofford College during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Terriers, led by 16th-year head coach Mike Young, played their home games at the newly opened Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, South Carolina as members of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 21–13, 11–7 in SoCon play to finish in a tie for fourth place. They defeated Mercer in the quarterfinals of the SoCon tournament to advance to the semifinals where they lost to UNC Greensboro. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where, after a first round bye, they lost in the second round to Central Michigan.
The 2017–18 East Tennessee Buccaneers basketball team represented East Tennessee State University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Buccaneers, led by third-year head coach Steve Forbes, played their home games at the Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tennessee as of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 25–9, 14–4 in SoCon play to finish in second place. They defeated Chattanooga and Furman to advance to the championship game of the SoCon tournament where they lost to UNC Greensboro. Despite having 25 wins, they did not participate in a postseason tournament.
The 2019–20 UNC Greensboro men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Greensboro during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Spartans, led by ninth-year head coach Wes Miller, played most of their home games at Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a handful of games at Fleming Gymnasium, on the UNCG campus. They are members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). They finished the season 23–9, 13–5 in SoCon play to finish in third place. They lost in the quarterfinals of SoCon tournament to Chattanooga. Although being a good postseason candidate with 23 wins, all postseason tournaments were cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

They defeated UNC Greensboro in the quarterfinals of the SoCon tournament before losing in the semifinals to Wofford.

The Mocs, led by first-year head coach Katie Burrows, played their home games at the McKenzie Arena as members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). The Mocs finished the season 14–17, 8–6 in third place in the SoCon, losing to Furman in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.
The 2021–22 Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mocs, led by fifth-year head coach Lamont Paris, played their home games at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as members of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 27–8, 14–4 in SoCon play to win the regular season SoCon championship. As the No. 1 seed in the SoCon tournament, they defeated The Citadel, Wofford, and Furman to win the tournament championship. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 13 seed in the South Region, where they lost in the first round to Illinois.

The Mocs, led by head coach John Shulman, played their home games at the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as members of the Southern Conference. The Mocs won a share of the SoCon North Division title, and won the 2009 SoCon tournament, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament as the 16th seed in the West region. Chattanooga was beaten by top seed Connecticut in the first round, 103–47.

The Mocs, led by first-year head coach Dan Earl, played their home games at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as members of the Southern Conference.
The 2022 Southern Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Southern Conference held from October 25 through November 6, 2022. The tournament was held at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting. The ten-team single-elimination tournament consisted of four rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Samford Bulldogs were the defending champions. Samford successfully defended their crown defeating the fourth seed UNC Greensboro in a penalty-shoot out in the final. This was the fifth Southern Conference tournament title for the Samford women's soccer program, all five of which have come under coach Todd Yelton. As tournament champions, Samford earned the Southern Conference's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
