The 35th Guangdong-Hong Kong Cup will be held on 29 December 2012 and 1 January 2013. The first leg will be played at Huizhou Olympic Stadium with the second leg to take place at Hong Kong Stadium. [1]

Both Hong Kong and Guangdong were not able to win the Guangdong–Hong Kong Cup after 90 minutes of first leg game and 120 minutes of second leg, which include 30 minutes of extra time. The game ended in 2–2 in aggregate. Hong Kong won 9–8 on penalty shoot-out.

Xu Deshuai Chinese-born Hong Kong footballer

Xu Deshuai is a Chinese-born Hong Kong professional footballer who is currently a free agent. He was born in Dalian, China but represents Hong Kong in international competition. He was a member of the Hong Kong East Asian Games football team in 2009 who won the East Asian Games gold medal.

The 32nd Guangdong–Hong Kong Cup was held in December 2009 and January 2010. The first leg was played at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground on 29 December, with the second leg to take place at Zhaoqing Sports Center on 2 January.

The 33rd Guangdong-Hong Kong Cup was held in 1 and 4 January 2011. The first leg was played at Guangdong People's Stadium, Guangzhou on 1 January, with the second leg taken place at Hong Kong Stadium, Hong Kong on 4 January.
