The 2014 FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship season was the 12th season of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. The Spanish Marc Coma won his second title, after the last event. [1]

The calendar for the 2014 season featured six rallies. [2] Some of the rallies were also part of FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup.

The third event, Rallye des Pharaons after being cancelled in 2013, in 2014 the official teams refused to take part in the race claiming security still remaining after Egyptian Revolution of 2011. [3]

Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme International sport governing body

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 111 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions.

The Rallye des Pharaons was a rally-raid event that took place in Egypt. Cairo was both the starting and finishing point at the foot of the pyramids of Giza, and the rally covered roughly around 3,100 kilometres (1,900 mi). It was similar in format to the Dakar Rally in that it took place in desert conditions and cars, trucks, and motorcycles were all permitted to compete.

Marc Coma Spanish motorcycle racer

Marc Coma i Camps is a Spanish rally racing motorcycle rider. He won the Dakar Rally in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014, and 2015 riding a KTM motorcycle, and is also a six-time winner of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. He was the race director of the Dakar Rally from 2016 to 2018.

Sidecarcross World Championship

The Sidecar Motocross World Championship is an annual event, first held in 1980. It is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). Before 1980, a European competition was held from 1971 onwards.

The 2014 FIA World Rally Championship-2 was the second season of the World Rally Championship-2, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship. It was created when the Group R class of rally car was introduced in 2013.The Championship was open to cars complying with R4, R5, Super 2000 and Group N regulations. The Championship is composed by thirteen Rallies, and Drivers and Teams must nominate a maximum of seven event. The best six results were counted towards the championship.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic all events but one were cancelled, and FIA considered that only one event wasn't enough to award a World title and cancelled the season.

The 2020 FIM Bajas World Cup season is the 9th season of the FIM Bajas World Cup; an international rally raid competition for motorbikes, quads, and SSV.

The 2021 FIM Bajas World Cup season is the 10th season of the FIM Bajas World Cup; an international rally raid competition for motorbikes, quads and SSV.
