The 2014 UCI Juniors Track World Championships was the 11th annual Junior World Championship for track cycling held at the Gwangmyeong Speedom in Gwangmyeong, South Korea from 8 to 12 August 2014.

Anna Maree Devenish Meares is an Australian retired track cyclist. She currently resides in Adelaide in South Australia where the Australian Institute of Sport's Track Cycling program has its headquarters at the Adelaide Super-Drome.
Taylor Carpenter-Phinney is an American retired professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2019 for the Trek–Livestrong, BMC Racing Team and EF Education First teams. Phinney specialized in time trials on the road as well as the individual pursuit on the track, winning the world title in the discipline in 2009 and 2010.

Peter Robert Kennaugh MBE is a Manx former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2010 and 2019 for Team Sky and Bora–Hansgrohe. In 2012 he won the gold medal as part of the Great Britain Team Pursuit team at the 2012 Summer Olympics, becoming the first Manxman in 100 years to win gold. On 5 April 2019, he announced that he was taking an indefinite break from professional cycling to focus on his mental health.
Steven James Burke is a former English track and road cyclist, who rode for the now disbanded Team Wiggins Le Col cycling team. He represented Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics, beating his pre Olympics personal best in the individual pursuit by eleven seconds, to take the bronze medal. He stood on the podium alongside his cycling idol, gold medallist Bradley Wiggins.

Representing Wales, Barker was also the points race champion at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The Ashgabat Sports Complex Velodrome is a velodrome constructed in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It was built by Turkish construction company Polimeks for the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The track is 250 meters long and 7,1 meters wide. The construction materials used fabric from Finland. The total area of the five-storey building of 61,000 m2. Rostrum accommodate up to 6000 spectators, there are VIP loggia and sector for press. Among the infrastructure facilities for athletes: massage room, sauna, restaurant for 48 people, 9 cafes at 447 locations and 13 diners rooms.
Jennifer Marie Valente is an American professional racing cyclist who is a two-time gold medalist in women's omnium at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics. As part of the U.S. team, she has also won the team pursuit at the Paris Olympics. Valente has ridden for UCI Women's Team Virginia's Blue Ridge–TWENTY24. She has won seven gold medals in the World Championships and five Olympic medals, making her the most decorated U.S. female cyclist in Olympic history.
Jacob Karl Rodger Schmid is an Australian professional track sprint cyclist from Melbourne, Victoria. He represented Australia at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where he won bronze in the elite men's individual sprint and team sprint.

Filippo Ganna is an Italian track and road cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers. He is a record-breaking six-time world champion in the individual pursuit, winning a total of nine medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, and part of the Olympic gold medal-winning team in the team pursuit at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He also won the men's individual time trial at the 2020 and 2021 UCI Road World Championships, and four stages in the 2020 Giro d'Italia and two stages in the 2021 Giro d'Italia, setting the record for most consecutive time trials won at the Giro with five. He is the current world record holder in individual pursuit and of the hour record, which he unified with the best human effort since the distinction was first made in 1997.
Jaïr Tjon En Fa is a Surinamese male track cyclist and two time Olympian. He began cycling at the age of 13 in 2007 in his home country of Suriname. He competed in the sprint event at the 2013 UCI Track Cycling World Championships and also at the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships – Men's sprint where he reached the 1/16th Final. At the 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championships – Men's sprint he reached the 1/8th Final. He participated at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico and won bronze in the Elite Sprint. He participated in the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where he was ranked 9th in the Men's Sprint and 6th in the Men's Keirin.

Ellesse Andrews is a New Zealand racing cyclist. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she gained a silver medal in the keirin. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, she earned two gold medals for winning the keirin and sprint, as well as a silver medal in the team sprint.
