The 2015 Aegon International was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 41st edition of the event, and was classified as a WTA Premier tournament on the 2015 WTA Tour. The event took place at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club in Eastbourne, United Kingdom from 22 June through 27 June 2015.

This was the first edition of the event as a WTA International tournament.

Belinda Bencic won the women's singles tennis title at the 2015 Canadian Open after Simona Halep retired in the final, with scoreline at 7–6(7–5), 6–7(4–7), 3–0. Bencic defeated six major finalists in succession en route to her first WTA Tour title. At 18 years and 23 weeks of age, Bencic became the youngest woman to win the tournament, surpassing Ana Ivanovic's record from 2006.

Petra Kvitová was the defending champion, and successfully defended her title, defeating compatriot and fourth seed Lucie Šafářová in the final 6–7(6–8), 6–2, 6–2.

Defending champion Serena Williams defeated Simona Halep in the final, 6–3, 7–6(7–5) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2015 Cincinnati Masters.

Elina Svitolina defeated Caroline Wozniacki in the final, 6–4, 6–0 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2017 Canadian Open. It was her third consecutive Premier 5 title, making her the first woman to win the first three Premier 5 tournaments in a season, as well as the first to win three consecutive Premier 5 tournaments since Wozniacki won Montreal and Tokyo in 2010 and Dubai in 2011. This was also Wozniacki's sixth consecutive loss in a final in 2017, making her the first to lose that many finals in a row in one season, as well as the first woman to lose six finals in a single season since Maria Sharapova in 2012.

Agnieszka Radwańska was the defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Daria Gavrilova.
