The 2015 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 21 through May 23, 2015 [2] [3] at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. Pepperdine won the four team, double-elimination tournament winner for the second year in a row to earn the league's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. [4]

Seeding

The top four finishers from the regular season were seeded one through four based on conference winning percentage. The teams then played a double elimination tournament until they reach the championship game. The championship game was winner takes all.

Brad Anderson was named Tournament Most Outstanding Player. Anderson hit two home runs in the tournament. In the championship game Anderson came to bat 5 times and was walked three times, with his home run in the first inning tying it up at 1. For the tournament Anderson went 3-for-10, a mere .300, but recorded 3 game tying or winning RBI's, both in elimination games. [5]

The West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament is the annual concluding tournament for the NCAA college basketball in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The winner of the tournament each year is guaranteed a place in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament for that season. It was the first postseason championship event sponsored by the West Coast Conference since 2009, the first such event to be held at a neutral site, and the first to feature more than two teams. In the championship game, San Diego defeated San Francisco, 2–0, to win its first tournament championship. As a result, San Diego earned the league's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2013 BYU Cougars baseball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball season. Mike Littlewood was in his 1st season as head coach of the Cougars. BYU's baseball team came off a 2012 season in which they were 22–27. The Cougars played their home games at Larry H. Miller Field, part of the Miller Park Baseball/ Softball Complex. Picked to finish sixth in the WCC, BYU stunned most people and finished in a 3-way tie for second place. The Cougars won the #3 seed in the WCC Tournament where they knocked out #1-seed Gonzaga. BYU lost twice to eventual tournament champion San Diego to finish the season 32–21.

Michael Rory Littlewood is an American college baseball coach currently serving as head coach of the NCAA Division I West Coast Conference's BYU Cougars. He was named to that position prior to the 2013 season.

The 2014 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 22 through May 24, 2014 at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. The four team, double-elimination tournament, outside of the championship game, which is winner takes all, winner earned the league's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament. The NCAA approved the use of experimental instant replay rules during the event. These rules are generally only in force during the College World Series, and allow umpires to use video to review fair/foul, home run, and spectator interference calls. The WCC made history in the Gonzaga/ Santa Clara elimination game when they had the first collegiate baseball review in history. The feat would be repeated in the WCC Championship, marking the second time replay has been used in a collegiate baseball game.

The Cougars came off a season where they exceeded expectations. After being picked to finish sixth, the Cougars finished in a 3-way tie for second and eliminated regular season champion Gonzaga in the WCC tournament. The Cougars would finish 32–21.

The 2014–15 Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Gonzaga University in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by head coach Mark Few, who was in his 16th season as head coach. The team played its home games at McCarthey Athletic Center, which has a capacity of 6,000. The Bulldogs were playing in their 35th season as a member of the West Coast Conference. The Zags were predicted to finish atop of the conference by the West Coast Conference Preseason Poll. The Zags finished in first place in the West Coast Conference Standings for the 18th time with a 17-1 conference record after BYU defeated the Zags in the regular season finale, snapping the nation's longest active home winning streak of 41 games, as well as Gonzaga's school record 22-game winning streak. The Bulldogs then went on to beat BYU in the West Coast Conference Tournament, and claimed their 14th WCC tournament title, along with punching their 18th ticket to the NCAA Tournament. Gonzaga entered the 2015 NCAA Tournament as a #2 seed in the South region, and dismantled #15 seed North Dakota State, #7 seed Iowa, and #11 seed UCLA, to gain its second trip to the Elite Eight, as well as Mark Few's first as head coach. The Zags then fell to #1 seed Duke, and finished the season with a 35–3 record, which were the most wins in school history.

2015–16 Gonzaga Bulldogs mens basketball team American college basketball season

The 2015–16 Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Gonzaga University in the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by head coach Mark Few, who was in his 17th season as head coach. The team played its home games at McCarthey Athletic Center, which had a capacity of 6,000. The Bulldogs played in their 36th season as a member of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 28–8, 15–3 in WCC play to finish in a share for the WCC regular season championship. They defeated Portland, BYU, and Saint Mary's to be champions of the WCC Tournament and earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. As a #11 seed, they defeated Seton Hall and Utah to advance to the Sweet Sixteen where they lost to Syracuse. The final AP Poll is the most recent poll in which Gonzaga was unranked. They have since been ranked for 85 straight weeks from November, 2016-2021.

The 2016–17 Saint Mary's Gaels men's basketball team represented Saint Mary's College of California during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Randy Bennett's 16th season at Saint Mary's. The Gaels competed in the West Coast Conference and played their home games at the McKeon Pavilion in Moraga, California. They finished the season 29–5, 16–2 in WCC play to finish in second place. In the WCC Tournament, they defeated Portland and BYU before losing to Gonzaga in the championship game. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. As the No. 7 seed in the West region, they beat VCU in the First Round before losing to No. 2-seeded Arizona in the Second Round.

The 2017–18 Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Gonzaga University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by head coach Mark Few, who was in his 19th season as head coach. The team played its home games at McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington. This was the Bulldogs 38th season as a member of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 32–5, 17–1 in WCC play to win the WCC regular season championship. They defeated Loyola Marymount, San Francisco and BYU to become champions of the WCC Tournament. They received the WCC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament where they defeated UNC Greensboro and Ohio State to advance to the Sweet Sixteen where they lost to Florida State.

2017 BYU Cougars baseball team

The 2017 BYU Cougars baseball team represents Brigham Young University in the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball season. Mike Littlewood acts in his fifth season as head coach of the Cougars. BYU was picked to finish fourth in the WCC Pre-season rankings. The Cougars would overcome all expectations and claim a tri-team championship in the regular season. Afterwards the Cougars would win the West Coast Conference tournament for the first time in their history, claiming the conferences automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, the Cougars first tournament berth since 2002. The Cougars were placed in the Stanford Regional where they would go 1–2. The Cougars finished the season 38–21.

The 2019 West Coast Conference Baseball Tournament was held from May 23 through May 25, 2019 at Banner Island Ballpark in Stockton, California. The four team, double-elimination tournament winner, Loyola Marymount, earned the league's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.

The 2019 University Credit Union West Coast Conference Women's Basketball Tournament was a postseason women's basketball tournament held for the West Coast Conference for the 2018–19 season. All tournament games were played at the Orleans Arena in the Las Vegas area community of Paradise, Nevada from March 7–12, 2019. BYU won the championship game over Gonzaga. Paisley Johnson was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
