The men's team compound competition at the 2015 World Archery Championships took place from 26 July to 1 August in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Contents

33 countries entered the full quota of 3 archers into the qualification round, thus becoming eligible for the team competition. The combined totals of the 3 archers from each country in the qualification round were added together, and the 16 teams with the highest combined scores competed in the elimination rounds. [1] [2]

Iran won the competition, marking their first gold medal at the World Archery Championships.[ citation needed ]

Archery had its debut at the 1900 Summer Olympics and has been contested in 16 Olympiads. Eighty-four nations have competed in the Olympic archery events, with France appearing the most often at 31 times. Laura Nurmsalu is an Estonian recurve archer who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

The women's individual recurve competition at the 2019 European Games was held from 21 to 26 June 2019 at the Olympic Sports Complex in Minsk, Belarus. It was the second time the event was held as part of the European Games archery programme. A total of 48 archers from 32 different nations entered the competition, with a maximum of three entries per country.
