2016 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship

The 2016 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the 17th staging of the AVC Club Championships. The tournament was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 23 to 31 August 2016. The champions qualified for the 2017 Club World Championship as Asia's representative.

Pools composition

Teams were seeded in the first two positions of each pool following the Serpentine system according to their final standing of the 2015 edition. AVC reserved the right to seed the hosts as head of pool A regardless of the final standing of the 2015 edition. All teams not seeded were drawn. But, Turkmenistan later withdrew. Final standing of the 2015 edition are shown in brackets except the hosts who did not participate in the 2015 edition.

The futsal tournament at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games took place between December 9–20. This edition of the tournament featured both men's and women's tournaments. All matches took place in Wunna Theikdi Futsal, Naypyidaw. Official drawing took place on 6 November 2013 in Naypyitaw, Myanmar.

The tournament was held in Tehran, Iran from 31 July to 8 August 2015.

The 2015 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 12 to 20 May 2015. It was the inaugural edition of the tournament and served as the Asian qualifier for the 2015 Men's U23 World Championship to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which the top two teams qualified for the world championship. Iran won the tournament and Purya Fayazi was the most valuable player.

The 2015 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the 16th staging of the AVC Club Championships. The tournament was held in Taipei, Taiwan from 13 to 21 August 2015. The champions qualified for the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as Asia's representative.

The 2019 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship is the third edition of the Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Myanmar Volleyball Association. It is held in Naypyitaw, Myanmar from 3 to 11 August 2019.
