The 2016 TCR International Series Salzburgring round was the fifth round of the 2016 TCR International Series season. It took place on 4–5 June at the Salzburgring.

Mikhail Grachev won the first race, starting from ninth position, driving a Honda Civic TCR, and Jean-Karl Vernay gained the second one, driving a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.
Mikhail Grachev is a Russian racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. He made his debut in 2015, having previously raced in the European Touring Car Cup.
The ninth generation Honda Civic was launched in the North American market in April 2011, Europe in February 2012, and Asia in early 2012.
Jean-Karl "J. K." Vernay is a French professional racing driver.

Gianni Morbidelli is an Italian racing driver. He participated in 70 Formula One Grands Prix, debuting on 11 March 1990. He achieved one podium, and scored a total of 8.5 championship points. He currently competes in the TCR International Series.
Davit "Data" Kajaia is a Georgian racing driver, best known for winning the Legends Euro Nations Cup in 2012 and 2013. He currently drives for the MIA Force team in the Georgian Circuit Championship.
