The 2016 TCR International Series Salzburgring round was the fifth round of the 2016 TCR International Series season. It took place on 4–5 June at the Salzburgring.

The 2016 TCR International Series was the second season of the TCR International Series.

Ballast

Due to the results obtained in the previous round, Stefano Comini received +30 kg, Pepe Oriola +20 kg and Mikhail Grachev +10 kg.^[1]

The 2016 TCR International Series Imola round will be the fourth round of the 2016 TCR International Series season. It took place on 22 May at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

Stefano Comini is a Swiss racing driver.

Josep "Pepe" Oriola Vila is a Spanish racing driver. He became the youngest driver to race in the World Touring Car Championship when he competed in the 2011 season. In 2018 he competed in the World Touring Car Cup.

In addition, the Balance of Performance was reviewed for this round: the Honda Civic TCR and SEAT León TCR's both received a -10 kg bonus.^[2]

^1 — Harald Proczyk and Gianni Morbidelli was given a two-place grid penalty each, for having parked their cars in the fast lane during the red flag stoppage of qualifying.

Harald "Hari" Proczyk is an Austrian racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. Having previously competed in the ADAC TCR Germany Series, Blancpain Sprint Series & ADAC GT Masters amongst others.

Gianni Morbidelli is an Italian racing driver. He participated in 70 Formula One Grands Prix, debuting on 11 March 1990. He achieved one podium, and scored a total of 8.5 championship points. He currently competes in the TCR International Series.

Davit "Data" Kajaia is a Georgian racing driver, best known for winning the Legends Euro Nations Cup in 2012 and 2013. He currently drives for the MIA Force team in the Georgian Circuit Championship.
