2017 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations squads

The 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations was an international age-restricted football tournament which was held in Gabon from 14 to 28 May. The 8 representative teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 21 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players born or after 1 January 2000 were eligible to be registered in these squads, only players registered in the squads were eligible to take part in the tournament. [1] [2]

The 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup was an international football tournament that took place in Germany from 26 June until 17 July 2011. The 16 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 21 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations was an international football tournament held in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon from 21 January until 12 February 2012. The 16 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 23 players; only players in those squads were eligible to take part in the tournament.

The U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, known for short as the U-20 AFCON and for sponsorship purposes as TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, previously known as the African Youth Championship and the African U-20 Championship, is the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for its nations consisting of players under the age of 20. It serves as the African qualification tournament for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

The Niger women's national football team represents Niger in international women's football. It is governed by the Nigerien Football Federation. It has played in four FIFA recognised matches, two of which were losses to Burkina Faso women's national football team in 2007. There is an under-20 women's national team who were supposed to participate in the 2002 African Women U-19 Championship but withdrew before playing a game. There are problems that impact the development of the women's game in Africa that effect Niger.

The São Tomé and Príncipe women's national football team represents São Tomé and Príncipe in international women's football. It is governed by the São Toméan Football Federation. It has played in six FIFA recognised matches and has never been internationally ranked by FIFA. The country also has a national under-19 team.

The 2013 African Youth Championship is an international football tournament to be held in Algeria from 16 March until 30 March 2013. The semi-finalists of the competition qualify for the age restricted 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup which requires players to be born on or after 1 January 1993. The regulations of the African Youth Championship omit any age restrictions in what appears to be an administrative error.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2015 African U-17 Championship</span> International football competition

The 2015 African U-17 Championship was the 11th edition of the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 17 and below. The tournament took place in Niamey, Niger, and was originally scheduled to be held between 2 and 16 May. However, the date of the opening match was pushed forward to 15 February, with the tournament scheduled to conclude with the final on 1 March.

The 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations is an international football tournament that is to be held in Senegal from 28 November to 12 December 2015.

The 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, officially known as the Total U-17 Africa Cup Of Nations, Gabon 2017, was the 12th edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 17 and below.

The 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was an international beach soccer tournament held in the Bahamas from 27 April to 7 May 2017. The 16 national teams involved in the tournament were required by FIFA to register a squad of 12 players, including two goalkeepers. Only players in these squads were eligible to take part in the tournament which was revealed on 20 April 2017.

The eight national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 21 players; only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament. Each player had to have been born after 1 January 1999. All ages as of start of the tournament. The squads for the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations were announced on 30 January 2019.

The 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations is an international age-restricted football tournament which is currently being held in Tanzania from 14–28 April. The 8 representative teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 21 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players born or after 1 January 2002 are eligible to be registered in these squads, only players registered in the squads are eligible to take part in the tournament.

The 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations is an international age-restricted football tournament which is currently being held in Algeria from 29 April-19 May. The 12 national teams involved in the tournament were required to register a squad of 21 players with an option of up to 5 more additional players, including three goalkeepers. Only players born on or after 1 January 2006 are eligible to be registered in these squads, only players registered in the squads are eligible to take part in the tournament.
