SA's Got Talent (also known as South Africa's Got Talent or shorten to SAGT) was a South African television show that aired on e.tv and part of the Got Talent series. It was presented by Mo Mahlangu, popularly known as Tol Ass Mo. Singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other performers competed against each other for audience support. The winner of each series received R500,000. The first series of the talent show began on 1 October 2009 and was broadcast weekly with a live semi-finals and final on 12 November 2009.

Thato Sikwane, better known by his stage name DJ Fresh, is a Motswana disk jockey, producer and entrepreneur based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is most well-known for his career on 5FM and Metro FM.

In 2016 SA's Got Talent returned for another season. Tol Ass Mo was named new host. DJ Fresh and Shado Twala returned to the judging panel and a new judge, Jamie Bartlett, was added to the judging panel.

Jasper van der Westhuizen Wiese is a South African professional rugby union player who currently plays for Leicester Tigers in England's Premiership Rugby. He previously played for the Cheetahs in the Pro14, the Free State Cheetahs in the Currie Cup and the Free State XV in the Rugby Challenge. He can play as a number 8 or a flanker. He made his debut for South Africa in 2021. He was a Premiership Rugby champion in 2022, scoring a try in the final and being named as the Man of the Match.

The Voice South Africa is a South African reality singing competition and local version of The Voice first broadcast as The Voice of Holland. Its first season started on 31 January 2016 and proved to be a hit on M-Net. The second season started on 5 February 2017 on the same channel. The third season premiered on 3 February 2019.

Amanda Faku is a South African singer, performer and songwriter. Born and raised in the township of eZinyoka, Port Elizabeth, developed musical interest at the age of 6 and participated on church choirs. Faku rose to fame as a contestant on The Voice SA season 2 in 2017, prior getting recognition in the music industry.

Anele Mdoda is a South African television presenter, radio personality, producer, businesswoman and author. Born and raised in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, Mdoda started a degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Pretoria but was academically excluded in her first year. Her career then began at the age of 20 in 2004 as a radio DJ.
