The 2017–18 Kennesaw State Owls women's basketball team represents Kennesaw State University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Owls, led by second year head coach Agnus Berenato, play their home games at the KSU Convocation Center and are members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Kennesaw State Owls fields 17 varsity athletics teams, competing for Kennesaw State University. After spending ten years in Division II's Peach Belt Conference, the university fully transitioned to Division I status in the National Collegiate Athletic Association at the beginning of the 2009–10 season. All of Kennesaw State's sports teams compete in the ASUN Conference, except for the football team, which is an associate member of the Big South Conference. The school mascot is Scrappy the Owl.
Kennesaw State University (KSU) is a public research university in the U.S. state of Georgia with two primary campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan area, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta on a combined 581 acres (235 ha) of land. The school was founded in 1963 by the Georgia Board of Regents using local bonds and a federal space-grant during a time of major Georgia economic expansion after World War II. KSU also holds classes at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Dalton State College, and in Paulding County (Dallas). The fall 2021 enrollment exceeded 42,000 students making KSU the second-largest university by enrollment in Georgia while also having the largest freshman class in the state as well.

The team began play in 2015 as a member of the Big South Conference at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision level. The head coach of the Owls is Brian Bohannon, and plays at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia.
The Kennesaw State Owls men's basketball team represents Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, United States. The school's team currently competes in the ASUN Conference. They are currently led by head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim and play their home games at the KSU Convocation Center. During their time as a member of NCAA Division II, they were national champions in 2004.
The 2014–15 Kennesaw State Owls women's basketball team will represent Kennesaw State University in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Owls were coached by third year head coach Nitra Perry and were a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 17-13, 6-8 in A-Sun for a three way tie for a fourth-place finish. They lost in the quarterfinals of the 2015 Atlantic Sun Women's Basketball Tournament to Jacksonville. Despite with 17 wins, they were not invited to a postseason tournament.

They finished the season 10–22, 4–10 in A-Sun play to finish in a tie for sixth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the A-Sun Tournament to USC Upstate.
Markeith Terrell Cummings is an American professional basketball player for Szolnoki Olaj of the Hungarian NB I/A and FIBA Europe Cup. He played college basketball for Kennesaw State University.

The Owls were led by first-year head coach Al Skinner and played their home games at the KSU Convocation Center on the university's campus in Kennesaw, Georgia as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference (A-Sun). They finished the season 11–20, 7–7 in A-Sun play to finish in a tie for fifth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the A-Sun Tournament to Florida Gulf Coast.

The season marks the fifth for the Owls as members of the American Athletic Conference. The Owls, led by tenth year head coach Tonya Cardoza, play their home games at McGonigle Hall and the Liacouras Center. They finished the season 12–19, 3–13 in AAC play to finish a tie for last place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the American Athletic Conference Women's Tournament where they lost to UCF.
The 2017–18 Florida Gulf Coast Eagles women's basketball team represents Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles, led by sixteenth year head coach Karl Smesko, play their home games at Alico Arena and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finish the season 31–5, 12–1 in A-Sun play to win the Atlantic Sun regular season champions. They also won the ASUN Tournament and received an automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Tournament where they upset Missouri in the first round before losing to Stanford in the second round.
The 2017–18 Stetson Hatters women's basketball team represents Stetson University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Hatters, led by tenth year head coach Lynn Bria, play their home games at Edmunds Center and were members of the Atlantic Sun Conference. They finished the season 17–15, 8–6 in A-Sun play to finish in third place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the A-Sun Women's Tournament to North Florida. They were invited to the Women's Basketball Invitational where they lost to South Alabama in the first round.
The 2017–18 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders women's basketball team represents Middle Tennessee State University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Blue Raiders, led by thirteenth year head coach Rick Insell, play their home games at the Murphy Center and were third year members of Conference USA. They finished the season 18–13, 10–6 in C-USA play to finish in a 4 way tie third place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Women's Tournament to Rice. They received an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament where they lost to Ball State in the first round.
