The 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards was the 10th edition of the ceremony, and took place in Kakanfo conference centre in Ibadan, Oyo state on 9 December 2018. The Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi served as the chief host. [1] [2] The event was co-hosted by comedian, Helen Paul and actor, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey. [2]
A total 112 films, including 93 feature films, 9 short films and 1 documentary series were considered. [3] The nomination list was revealed in November 2018 where We Don’t Live Here Anymore by Tope Oshin earned the highest nominations with 11 nominations, followed by Oga Bolaji with 10 nominations, Queen of Queens with 8 nominations and Obsession earning 6 nominations. [2]
We Don’t Live Here Anymore won in four of the categories, including best director, best editing, movie of the year and the most promising actor award which was jointly awarded to Francis Sule and Temidayo Akinboro. Oga Bolaji won 1 of the awards in the 10 categories it was nominated in. [2]

Ramsey Nouah is a Nigerian actor and director. He won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2010 for his performance in the movie The Figurine. He made his directorial debut with the film Living in Bondage: Breaking Free in 2019 and also went on to direct Nollywood classic Rattle Snake: The Ahanna Story which is a remake of Rattlesnake (1995).

The film was also screened at several film festivals such as New York African Film Festival, Nollywood week Paris, Zimbabwe International Film Festival, RTF Film Festival, Cardiff Film Festival and Zanzibar International Festival. The film was premiered for free by the director himself via YouTube in April 2020 for the people who were staying at home during lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The 2019 Best of Nollywood Awards was the 11th edition of the ceremony and took place in the Coronation Hall of the Kano State Government in Kano State on 14 December 2019. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was the chief host of the event and the event was co-hosted by actress, Maryam Booth and Gbenga Adeyinka.

We Don't Live Here Anymore is a 2018 Nigerian film directed by Tope Oshin and produced by Olumide Makanjuola, Bose Oshin and Tope Oshin. The drama is based on the story of two LGBT high school students Chidi Egwuonwu and Tolu Bajulaye. The boys are in love with each other and have to deal with discrimination regarding their relationship.
